when i do all this...the custom ring tone bar never shows and neither does the ringtone..is is in my iphone when i look at my phone tab as its connected to the itunes....wtf.....is my iphone 4s busted?

I'm not using a MAC so this "file sharing" stuff isnt on there so when I plug in my phone to itunes and click on the ringtone maker app, nothing happens. When black people get frustrated, the only logical thing we can think to do is break shit, which is definitely illogical, but I've had enough. PLEASE HELP. -__________-

@Melcs0fly Ok, after reading this, it sounds like you need to do one of two things. Either remove the app, redownload it, recreate your ringtone, and try again, or perhaps remove the app, download straight to itunes through the store on your computer, then sync to your phone, recreate your ringtone, and try again. I know for a fact that this method i described above works on both Macs and PCs. Let me know if either helped.

@ghorbani Here's what worked for me, I was having problems too, and I'm guessing it has something to do with the first two steps I'll tell you.

First off, don't change the name of the song. Mine currently reads "0001-Bangarang".

Second, although it may be saved on your phone - actually EMAIL it to yourself and DOWNLOAD it.

Then, save to Desktop/Folder of your choice.. Drag to iTunes Music & your iPhone Music and..

VOILA!!!

My costume ringtones aren't dropping into the Ringtone file, they are dropping into my Music instead? How do I get them out of Music and into Ringtone? Dragging doesn't help..

@katiemariex12 do you mean on the left column or for your phone specifically? first of all check that your itunes is fully upgraded... if it is and youre running iOS 4.1 or later it shouldnt be missing... when you plug your phone into your computer click on the phone in iTunes and it should be in the top bar... as soon as you get the RMaker app and make your first ringtone it should create the folder in your phone for iTunes to use... let me know if this helps at all

@katerirose2008 the only way i know of to remove ringtones is to go onto your itunes and right-click the ringtone you want to remove... delete it and a message should pop up asking you to confirm and telling you that the ringtone will be deleted from your iphone the next time you sync it to your itunes... so delete it from the "Ringtones" section on the left side menu in itunes, then sync your phone... that should do it

Everytime I try to create the clip on the rmaker app it tells me there is an error and that I have to reboot my phone. I've done that and it still isn't working for me... any suggestions?

@lihz1 sounds like you would need to remove the app entirely... try this... remove the app and data... restart your phone... add the app... if necessary do it on your computer through iTunes... then try it again... that should fix it :) let me know if this helps
