Now THAT is Indy Car at its best! We were on front row in Sect. 406 (Thanks Bob from Des Moines for hooking us up with those seats!!!). This felt like the "good old days" for sure. It was so much fun in person and looked even better on TV with more in-car shots and the helicopter overheads!
Rusty has to be very proud of how the Indy cars have performed and it seems to get better every year. Now with talk of a double-header next year, this could turn into quite the weekend! Jon in Omaha.

Indycar has been better on road courses then F1, Long Beach being the best, and this is even coming from a guy who's favorite F1 driver has been Sebastian Vettel since Vettel's rookie year. F1 has just got boring, indycar has proved the racing.

@9999fail Yes their is a dominant driver in F1 at the moment but the racing has been amazing this year with the KERS and DRS being bought in to improve racing. The IndyCar road course races have not been as interesting.
@indycars As a hard core fan I enjoy the long highlights, but I wanted to refer some of my friends to this races highlights to get them into indycar, cus' it was a GREAT race, but I know it is to long for a non-Indy fan to sit through. Perhaps you guys could post a shorter 5 minute highlight vid on YouTube, and a longer on, like this, on indycar nation.
Audio commericials would be great on TV. Great with a 38 min vid, why not just do full race with IMS radio broadcast here on YouTube? We'd all love that

@KingCuervo88 That's due to high humidity of the environment and tons of turbulence around the wing. The air (and moisture) are forced to pass on areas of high and low pressure just inches away from each other, this forces the air to condensate and do that. You almost never see this happening on a F1 car because they are allowed to make cuts on the side of the rear wing to reduce this kind of turbulence.
Who knew "highlights" doesn't mean playing just the wrecks and the finish?

@dcinhere Really humid in Iowa, but cool too, so you get contrails. Happens in Iowa more than anywhere else.
