Here's my opinion. Lady Gaga is a TRUE artist. She is original, she is unique. That's all you really need to be an artist. Not everyone has to like you. But be unique and you will have someone to follow you. She is unique in such a way that she makes a shit load of people like her. It's what makes her a true artist in my eyes and she has my respect, and I'm a fan. Coming from someone who actually prefers rock/metal.

Meh, I know I shouldn't be here if I don't like it, but I really don't like this song. I really fail to see what Gaga is doing with this music. Her singing is just...bad...I'm sorry, but that's what I think. It's got GREAT beats and rhythm, but she really needs to use her voice in better ways. You should look up and see how this woman used to sound BEFORE she went mainstream. She has WONDERFUL voice talent, and I just feel it's being wasted on music like this :(

No, it didn't. But I was talking about musical talent, not being famous. All you have to do is look at the American music industry of today and realize that those two things have NOTHING in common anymore. What really makes someone a great musician in my eyes is their sound and their message, not about how many people like them or how much money they make. I'm not a big fan of how she handles the first two, but Lady Gaga has very well succeeded at the last two.
