Gorillaz is an amazing concept and they have impressed millions around the world. To have Miley Cyrus cover Melancholy Hill as a gesture to friends getting married shouldn't be met with anger and displeasure. Millions of Miley fans now have been exposed to Gorillaz that may have never heard of them before. I see this benefiting both camps. Besides, Miley's rendition though incomplete and broken with an emotional moment of pause, still was a wonderful cover delivered with respect and sincerity.

Then if you watch the Russel ident he jumps in the water and doesn't come back up. That is because he mutated and became giant. A little later Noodle's cruise ship got blown up by pirates, but she escaped again on a raft, where she was found by giant Russel. Russel & Noodle then found the Plastic Beach along with 2-D and Murdoc.
