No. No, goombas aren't this smart. In fact, they walked into Peach right after the animation ended. And then all of Mario World exploded because there's no princess to save, and, therefore, no point to any of the games. At all. This probably parallels SOME deep, meaningful movie, but I don't care. Also one of the best flash animations next to "TARBOY" that I've ever seen.

The song is by a criminally obscure band from the 90's called Jellyfish. Their two albums, particularly Spilt Milk, are some of the best pop albums ever recorded, and everyone who hasn't heard one is doing themselves a huge disservice. Seriously, go check it out like, right now.

As for the song, it's from an album Nintendo put out in '91 called White Knuckle Scorin'- you've already heard the best of it though, the rest of the album was...interesting.
