This has always been the most influential and special movie from my childhood. At a very young age I would always pretend to be her, and I would watch the movies over and over. It's funny how she says in the beginning, "I'm nervous". And yet she did quite an excellent job on top of that.

What I love about Megan Follows is of the fact that she does not overact, many tend to do that so, and so they spoil it for themselves by not getting the part.

All the Anne movies are quite influential, we should also thank the director for his part in directing the films. He was able to bring about a message and inspire young generations today, thank you ! :)

I read a DVD review which supposedly said that there was a full 17 minutes of Megan's audition on the first DVD of Anne of Green Gables. Does such a DVD exists? It is really hard to agree with you jossminion, as Megan Follows really did such a fantastic job portraying Anne, she BECAME her; it is now impossible to imagine anyone else in that role.
