Btw Im pretty sure that neither Mexico, Canada nor USA would give up their currency. What could be possible would be to start sth like the ECU was in Europe.
So u could call it ACU American Currency Unit :) If u dont know the ECU wiki it ...
It would have lots of advantages and avoids all the disadvantages of a NA currency union. The currency Union would be like a virtual one for companies, banks ... and the people wouldnt feel any change... The National Souvereignty wouldnt be touched...
@cwa1984 Oh I know that, but the US is one of the worlds main superpowers and the so-called" free nation" is just a control sceme. but all countries are corrupt, its just a matter of how corrupt, and whats going on behind the scenes.
@pricture Apparently you didn't know that are you wouldn't have said it. Or you said it just piss people off? So which is it then? Are you stupid, an asshole, or both?
@cwa1984 Hey buddy your the one being a retarded asshole, I didnt say shit to you. And I said that one comment because its true, Its like any major country being merged with another one, it just never turns out well. Oh, and if you think I hate the US or anything, I dont. In fact I really couldnt care less about any country because in the end they're only lines on the god damn map.
@pricture First off were not buddies. We don't know each other and most likely will never meet face to face so it's doubtful we will ever be buddies. As far as you not liking the U.S. why did you say it was one of the greediest, war happy, corrupt countries on earth than if you did not like the U.S.? I'm being nit picky here but you did say shit to me by responding to posts.
@cwa1984 Your right, we're not buddies. I just said that to lighten the mood. And I know it may seem like I dont like the US, but really thats not true I'm just pointing out some facts. I mean dont you wonder why most of the world hates the US right now? As for Canada (where I live), the tar sands thing is atrocious and should have been stopped before it started. Also I didnt say shit to you because none of my comments to you were that offensive since I was mainly talking about the US.
@pricture Being merged to most corrupted, violent, shithole, drug trafficker countrie and the most pussy, gayest, hippie, loner country. No thanks. yes im talking about Canada and Mexico.
@freest2dogg Most corrupted/violent? Partly true, but look what country is right in the middle. Drug trafficking I agree with Canada and Mexico are both really bad for that. "Shithole, pussy, gayest, hippie, loner" can be used to describe any country, so take your overpatriotic ass somewhere else. And people seriously wonder why you guys arent liked......
@pricture people hate on the u.s because their haters. Because lets not forget that U.S is still the country that receives more legal and illegal immigrants.
@freest2dogg Yes thats true. Ad there are lots of haters of the US, some just because they need something to hate, but other than that there are reasons.
@freest2dogg Of which 80% are Mexicans. No one else wants to come here. And how can you hate Canada when Justin Bieber is from there? I figured you must be a fan of his since you sound like a 12 year old girl.
@lernoschwoejn NObody wants to come here. Please i been to europe and asia and most of them wish they live in America. I mean what does Europe have to offer. The Euro some currency that was supposedly going to replace the dollar but it only brought bankrupsy to spain, portugal and greece. And now Germany and France don't know what to do with them.
@freest2dogg I really doubt you've been to those places, but... What does Europe have to offer? Well, it's not a country, but Sweden, Germany, Norway, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and a few more all have less crime, higher salaries, and better quality of life to offer. Anyone in Europe who told you that they wished to be in the US are either from a country like Albania or Moldova, or are simply brainwashed. And it has nothing to do with a currency.
France? A place where Muslims feel as the land owners of France. Please i know your not talking about France as a countrie with no crime. And if the U.S has more crime is because its a bigger countrie with a bigger population and greater variety of ethnicities. IN other places like europe the minority groups don't even reach to the 10 million. You actually think France is just a romantic countrie. Please i seen those riots involving immigrants. In u.s immigrants only march and they are 50 mill
@freest2dogg France does have crime; however, not as much as the US. And I don't mean with the total population. en (dot) wikipedia (dot) org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate
@lernoschwoejn i could just imagine when those algerians and sub africans reach a population of 50 million. We would see if they are they do peaceful demonstration as the Mexicans in the U.S
HAHAHAHAAHAAAAaaaaaaa !! like it would make any difference...They both leech off the USA anyway.. Hell we should put them all up in 5 star hotels and buy them all mansions and yachts..We would probably save some money..WTF !!!
@1988scottcarey When did you ever possess New England? That was the British Empire not Canada. As far as rewarding property and things left over from the revolution goes that's about as stupid as America taking the UK to international court in a lawsuit for damages caused by needing fight a revolutionary war.
Anyone actually interested on the topic of a real merger between the United States and Canada can visit annexation.ca regardless if your for or against the idea.
Canada by its history refused to join the American colonies in the War of Independence nor the war of 1812. As for Mexico, some wanted all of Mexico though there was mass opposition to the idea of incorporating millions of Mexicans into the United States. Canada seems to do well on its own and they do not need annexation. That game was finished long ago.
Also for all of you who are against the idea of Canada and the U.S. becoming one nation. Not a north american union but one country and one people. I'd advice you to check out Les Horswill: A Canada & U.S. Union on youtube. I disagree with some of it but overall the guy does make a valid argument.
Personally I like the culture difference, I like those little difference between Canada and the United States. I like to visit the United States, and enjoy those little differences but I also like the fact that I can return home to Canada. With open borders, labor mobility etc, you set the potential to blend that all together watering down those little differences, the diversity. Canada would simply be a name, a name is not what I'm interested in. Sovereignty sores high points with me.
@NAUresistance What culture difference between the two are profound or even slight exactly that I can't find between Americans living in different regions of the U.S. or Canadians living in different regions of Canada? As far the sovereignty issue. What would really fundamentally change for Canadians that they could not work out in deal joining the United States exactly?
I am Canadian, I want to be Canadian, I love Canada, I want to remain Canadian, I want a nation, I want sovereignty, I want independence, thats my birthright, thats what I expect from my country, and thats what I am going to have!
You are the one trying to sell something to me, I already have a country, you tell me why I need to give all that up! I don't know what type of shit hole you grew up in but so far Canada has been great! No NAU required or "union" required- PERIOD.
@NAUresistance First off I didn't grow up in shithole and you can get off your fucking high horse with your useless nationalist rhetoric. Also you were the one who started directly responding to me not the other way around. I was not trying to sell you shit. You've been trying to sell me that it was a bad idea and you have failed to do so.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@cwa1984 "useless nationalistic rhetoric" the globalists and those pushing the North American Union, deep integration, harmonization, trade liberalization, labour mobility, and the Consolidation of North America, would be proud of that statement!
What I mentioned in my last reply was not nationalistic rhetoric, these are my true feelings and if loving my country puts me on some high horse, as you say, then so be it.
I really have one thing to say and that is "Section 52", good luck!
@NAUresistance Did I mention Mexico being involved? Or a European nation joining? Or any other country for that matter besides the U.S. and Canada? No I didn't. Quite frankly you come off as paranoid as fucking hell. The world is becoming smaller so expanded nations is going to happen in the future. Now does this mean a one world government? No not unless were invaded by fucking aliens that isn't going to happen.
Sorry CWA, you can't have it both ways. I'm afraid you are wrong and don't quite understand the implications of your own suggestions. Regardless of your intentions for wanting the United States and Canada to unite as one, fact is there are others as I mentioned with the very same goals. I'm willing to bet everything I own, that there are very prominent people working right now, to bring about North American Union as a step toward a One World Government. I suggest you educate yourself.
@NAUresistance The one world goverment isn't going to happen within any of our lifetimes because quite frankly theirs no way in hell it's going to happen unless their is an alien invasion. Seriously look at this from a pragmatic standpoint instead of parnoid standpoint. We still have relligious wars going on in the world. We have massive differences in wealth between countries and we still dictors ruling a large percent of the world's population.
@NAUresistance The shit isn't going to happen because it would cause WW3. If that happened everyone would be dead and the planet wouldn't be able to support life. One world government is a fucking pipe dream.
@cwa1984 well the ones that do survive, their families dream is to control the rest of the poor saps living in nuclear waste.. you really dont get the determination do you.. it isnt the first..
@letsgoforajoyride The British treated Americans like shit and didn't allow us a voice in paraliment is the reason why we had the revolutionary war. Canada merging into the United States would have a strong voice in Congress. Your analogy of America acting like the british empire if annexation did occur is pure bullshit.
Excellent information looking back. May 27th 2010, President Calderon of Mexico addressed Canadian Parliament calling for more integration, harmonization, labor mobility, trade liberalization and the CONSOLIDATION of North America.
The reason they can't allow us to debate this is because North American Union is illegal. Those involved are breaking their sworn Oath and presuming powers in which the Canadian Constitution does not grant. Prosecute each and every one of them!
I wouldn't like the North American Union. I'd prefer something more along the lines of The United States of North America. There are 30 million Canadians and 300 million Americans and 110 Mexicans. It is destiny for our three nations to develop an even more in depth relationship. Look at the European Union.
@NAUresistance Why don't we need to have Canada and the U.S. become one nation exactly. If they were one nation Canadians would actually have a voice on what America is doing which they complain about since they don't have one now. They won't have one in a North American Union either. So why not just have the two countries become one to get rid of all the bullshit once and for all.
You would have to read some Canada-U.S. history to get the full picture, but Canada is a distinct society of people that have been working to create this great nation even before Confederation. I have nothing against Americans, I think they are great partners in trade, technology etc, but as far as turning Canada and the United States into one nation is a pipe dream! Our Constitution was created to prevent just that very thing, the annexation of Canada to the United States!
@NAUresistance I'm sorry but this is bullshit. Americans and Canadians are more like each other than other people from two bordering nations are in the world. Are societies aren't different like how the U.S. and Mexico are. If you cross the border from one country to the other by accident you do not realize you are in another country. Also when did America really try to annex Canada? Don't give me the war of 1812 because that's bullshit.
@cwa1984 you re fulla shit.. you cant tell me when you cross from montana to canada you cant tell the difference,, you are quite fucking full of yourself.. , and mt st helens is not what i am talking about. if you even know what that is
@letsgoforajoyride Besides the road signs being in the metric system what real difference is there? I've been to Canada plenty of times and can't see much of any real difference wlaking around the cities. Quebec doesn't feel anymore alien than Miami does to me so I fail to see your supposed point in your ranting especially the part about the volcano.
@cwa1984 haha okay you just proved two important factors.. that you dont know about st' helens... and that you fucking mistake quebec for MIAMI?!?? HAHAHAHA.. why do you gotta lie on the net, i dont get why people do that lol.
@letsgoforajoyride you said mt st helens which is fucking volcano jackass. Also I said Quebec didn't feel anymore alien than Miami does. That doesn't imply they are exactly the same it implies the differences are not so great. Please learn how to fucking read properly.
@cwa1984 i notice you didnt mention mexico, is that because you already know mexico is a secret slave state to the US, california being the biggest exploiter and arizona being the biggest anti-slave. or you forgot to mention it?
@letsgoforajoyride I didn't mention mexico because there are poor you are the one implying they are a slave state jack ass. If you think Mexico is a slave state please visit Guatamala, Haiti, or the Dominican Republic.
@cwa1984 hell no i dont want to live in a nation were theirs a shitload of fundamentalist christian republicans destroying my healthcare and turning my education into some creationist bullshit
@PossiblyAsian Well it seems like that might actually be a good thing if it happened since you're stupid enough to actually believe your standard bullshit political talking points spilled by idiots.
@cwa1984 oh yes... I want my living standards reduced by a joining a failing country that's completely in the shitter.... yeah... genius, you're so smart!
@PossiblyAsian I sleep just fine at night. You on the other hand being a paranoid idiot I imagine have a lot of problems getting any rest. What with you thinking the U.S. is just going to attack Canada for some reason (which is not goint to happen) and doom you to live in a 1984 type world (why is it you idiots believe that would happen is beyond me). So go ahead listening to Alex Jones and other nut jobs living in your paranoid world inside your head.
@cwa1984 lol who the hells alex jones and of courssssseee i think the us is gonna invade canada... NO DIPSHIT I DONT THINK THEY WILL BUT IDIOTS LIKE YOU TELLING PEOPLE THEY SHOULD ARE FUCKING STUPID.... Understand Amigo?
@PossiblyAsian The only dipshit here is you since your claiming that I advocating the U.S. invading by force and taking over Canada which I never stated you fucking jackass. Than again you don't even know if your asian or not so I can't say I'm surprised at your stupidity.
The very last thing that Canada needs is to be part of the US - we have energy, clean water and so many other things that the US wants - 9/11 was allowed to happen so that US would have an excuse to start BS like this - US politics has no respect for boundaries!
I heard about something like this but referring to a united currency called the Amero. The economies of the three nations would not allow this to ever happen any time in the near future. However, everything else seems likely.
This would be the biggest land grab in modern history! There is nothing for canada in a north american union. USA would gain access to Canada's vast amount of natural resources and it would also gain access to Mexican cheap labour.
if america invaded canada yall would have no chance first off a massive air campagin would reek havoc all over canda yall got some air defenses but we have our tricks and are experince in taking down national defense grids not only that we would prob unleash Thousands of un man fighter drones along with Deadly stealth aircraft strikes along with thousands of advance cruise missles
We'd have the crappiest flag in the world if we were American too. And one of the most diverse and accepting nations in the world would become the most racist.
And since I posted earlier that A USA government would screw us over ( and vice-versa), then we would be what- one huge province of America? To what.. give them resources? We practically do that already. One of our PM's put Canada for sale once. America owns 90% of our oil. If we're their country all our resources are gone, and "Canada Province" is screwed over. They need our water and all our stuff, we need their money. But we dont need to be them. Economics isnt everything. We are different.
Then there was that Prime Minister (god I know his name but I might mix it up with anothers don't wanna give wrong name) who Kennedy's government wasn't fond of (because we weren't giving it to the crap America was giving us). What America did was control Canada's media and ridiculed our Prime Minister. Then they sent their best strategist to run the campaign of the pro-american person running (think it was Pearson not sure tho). America needs to chill out once in a while. Tantrum for everything
Once Britain supplied a warship to the southern states in the Civil War. Then America said they had claim over Canada as compensation for a MEASLY SHIP. Throughout much of the 20th Century everytime Americans disliked something a PM did they got all pissed off about it. I remember recently watching videos where Presidents call our Prime Ministers Assholes (just because they didn't want to ge tpushed around by amercia), and one even called a PM over and FREKIN CHOKE HOLDED HIM for disagreeing.
Funny how the US sings about blowing up Canadians in their Anthems hey? (Back then British) They think they actually "beat" the British. How stupid. They were the brothers and cousins and family of the British. Why would Britain want to destroy their own kin. The British army could have easily obliterated them. I'm not a fan of Britain or anything (personally think they ruined much of the world), just saying that they could've owned the Americans. Voilence is Americas answer to everything.
I don't want America's debt, it's stupidity, it's privitization. And come one. Canada has a much much smaller population. Our government is more efficient to govern us. A USA government would totally screw us over. Also funny thing is this reminds me of Canadian history, when they tried to govern Canada East and Canada West under one law. Didn't work. Canada still has major flaws when it comes to the progress of certain provinces screwing over the next. Im phrasing that last sentence shortly tho
The United States guarantees the stability and prosperity the world has. Canada should be part of the United States, instead of a second rate world player, so that the U.S. could better utilise Canada's resources to this end. The two countries never should have been separated into two entities. We have the same culture. Canada should become part of the United States in the interest of a better world.
Sadly you don't have the facts on all sides. I think you should reconsider the statement you just made. Look back back back on Canada US Relations. You'll see why America is generally HATED by Canadians. You're President couldn't even remember our PM's name when he came to visit. Disgraceful I would say. And your culture is extremely different, the only similarity being in some major cities. Our Government does not represent our people. America is full of bs laws and simple-minded people. Sorry
NORTH AMERICA WILL NEVER BE A COMMON MARKET BECAUSE OF MEXICO'S NATIONAL LANGUAGE OF SPANISH....... the rest of North America speaks english if mexico would convert then we could get along perfectly
Very true tukebeard. Also the mentality of some of the younger generations of Canadians. They are falling under some American influences. But still, I've been to many places in America, and while the people are nice the fact that they are misinformed hugely about the world and their own country disgusts me to the extreme.
Im just thinking if the U.S.A invaded canada i dont think the us would win because are army will probally losse but it will just be like vietnam. My backyard is forest nothing else, so you will be on my turf my playground and i know ever hiding place vantage point and pond in my playground. thank you for your time
hahaha jokes I was gonna say...my brother is in the Canadian army and trust me he would mow down the whole boy scout pack with his m16 rifle, fully automatic. lol
ACtually in the War of Independence and the War of 1812 the U.S. attempted to invade the British controlled Canada territories. It failed miserably in both cases, so the odds of it working now are even lower.
trust me if the U.S invaded Canada we wouldnt go about it on the ground... but its never gunna happen were friends now we'll be friends forever....... largest unguarded border in the world lies between The States and Canada
Lets do it, I strongly belive that Canada, Mexico, and those little countrys north of Colombia should have bee Americas to begin with. The door is wide open to do so, the whole world hates us any way. I think Canada will be the only one who will say no, but that won't last more then a month. Think of it, one big (non metric) country. The way America should have been in the first place. Our conter parts 150 years ago had the right ideas on this topic, all or nothing, I just want what I listed.
There is a lot of history behind that man, specifically with regard to U.S. and Canada. which goes back to the American revolution.
Mexico as well as south and central america for the most part followed in our foot steps. Mexico's constitution for example is basically the same just written in Spanish. They even uses U.S. constitutional cases there as a basis. This is not a really a new idea, in many ways its a dream that goes back to the founding of most all of the America's. Not like NAU thou
The problem with this version of the suggested North American Union is who is sponsoring it. If the people of the three countries and more politically respectable groups were the ones supporting I could agree with them. But the fact that self interested Geo-Politics and Economic greed by a few powerful leaders in econimics & politics are the apparent reason behind it means that is not the right way to do it.
Pieman you have a lot to learn. We would simply have to cut out our natural resource link to you guys. We feed your country resources to develop, and you feed us money.
I wish... Tell that to all the frekin Americans who need water to survive. Do you honestly think America has enough water to quench it's citizens thirsts? You think you have enough coal to run your country? There are so many other kinds of resources.... Just think
We dig a canal (or build a pipe line) to our water depribed areas, that simple. We have coal, we have oil, we have wood, what more do we need? Coal is the future, and there is lots of it here.
You're actually right. That's why Obama is trying to remove Americas dependence on Canada. Sadly this is good for America and not so good for Canada. He's making America self-sufficient, which messes Canada.
More power to Obama (this coming from a republican), any country that wants to do dealings with us should join us. Care to join us and make 10 new states (or maybe more)? America forever!
Canada would never join America unless it was absolutely forced to economically or militarily. It could happen. Or maybe some agreements could be made. I don't know though. I'm just 15 so I'm not experienced at all in any of this, and I'm still learning and have an open-mind. Funny thing is with Bush gone our Prime Minister doesn't look too happy. He's running a minority government and everyone seems to be angry at him. But the difference here is we can kick him out (not sure if you can do that
I've been there many times. Not saying you are bad people, just that if we join you guys, we would have to keep our form of government. Also our culture is completely difference save a few of our highschools in he major cities. Most of teenagers are misinformed, and rather close-minded (not all, just most). Can't go anywhere without seeing some Americans calling something "gay". Canada is a little different. We are influenced by you of course you practically run our media lol, but our teens
know more about things, and what's going on. I guess it's the fact that we live in a country with such little interesting history, except the war against you (before we even became confederation and were still British), and some more attacks from you and a few more attacks from you, and some attacks from the Irish and the terrribly immoral opression and eradication of the Native Nations that made the Colonies possible. We learn more about other countries, and we have more diverse cultures.
There doesn't seem to be a majority population where I live lol, and thus we don't have the stupid biases like everyone in the middle east is the same and everyone from Asian countries are the same. It's all rather equal and growing up here I benefit from a HUGE pool of different beliefs that somehow coexist here. I've had teachers from many other countires, and all my Socials teachers have lived around the world, and taught around the world. We are exposed to more global ideas.
Economically though annexation by you guys would be good. it's in your constitution too, that Canada can join the US whenever they want without any trouble. But culturally it would destroy our identity.
Culturally is not a problem, lets divide America in to quaters for a minute. Each part has a different culture, and if you joined us, it would really only be a change in the flag and a few laws, your culture would change little (if any). When you put it down on paper, a merger of the two countries would be a good thing, and in practice it might have a few kinks, but it would work vary well. Only thing that concerns me is the fact the provinces would be huge states, and I don't know why I care.
Exactly, our identity would not be destroyed, what would happen is we would gain a new identity. Im all for the North American Union. I mean, everyday its more and more evident that globalization is the future. Someday we will all be one.
Well, if you guys joined us as states, it would be a union, but not the NAU (I am not for a NAU, I say one big country). I would be vary happy if Canada joined us, I'd advocate to break up the larger provancies into slightly smaller states (ie Quebec & Ontario, and maybe a few others), but in the ends, a union between our two countries would be a great thing, only people I see getting mad are the Russians for losing the title of largest country. Globalization, not enough space to talk about it.
I'm a Canadian (which is to say I'm an American for all intents and purposes -an American with an astrix) and I agree w/ you. Culturally it would not just not be a problem, it would be a boon. Being so close to such a populist and powerful and smiler nation creats a distortion whereby "Canadian culture" is defined by the [minute] differences between the two countries. In actual fact, Canadian culture is CAmerican, which is to say 90% American proper in terms of population and 99.9% generally.
in America. Also we don't elect Prime Ministers, we elect their parties. Our Minister could change tomorrow if the party wanted. Even so many Canadians don't realize this, and the Minister keeps trying to take more power for himself, and our people actually listened to his crap. Our financial department has lied to us in every single report they made, they even said we would have 5 year surplus, when professionals at the time said we were going into depression.Apparently they flipped the graph.
coal is a trashy resource and should be banned in all first world nations. There are plenty of better ways of creating energy that is renewable such as wind, solar,Geothermal power and wave farms...
The economics of something like solar power or wind power being practical for large scale genorating of power do not look good. Just because it works on small scale, means nothing about large scale.
California New Mexico Utah Texas and Arizona once belonged to Mexico until 184 when the gringos invaded us just becouse we were having internal troubles
The corporations and wealthy elite have a globalization agenda. They are traitors to their people and country, all in the name of greed and power. As an American, I fully support a free Canada and hope Canadians will support a free USA. No to tyranny and yes to liberty! Power to the people!
Countries with better medical care than USA : Ireland , Sweden , Switzerland , Malta , Canada , Australia . How many do you want trenton180 . USA rannks 36 in health care according to the United Nations !
In America , we are the most racist and totalitarian country that claims democracy ! We pay the most taxes of any nation . We don't have national healthcare . Our education system has no money . Our military has way too much money . We have the largest percentage of our population in prison in the history of the world !! We are not free ! Canadians , know how lucky you are . Keep Canada free !
"We will have world government weather we like it or not! The question is will it be done by conquest or consent".. Paul Warburg. Architect of the Federal Reserve.
they will do it by consent they already made canada us and mexico into the "north American Union" the all of africa into one country "african Union" then "european union" and "asian" union they they will merge i hope that never happens though
the health care system is so much better than the US??? HAHAHA. America's health care is the best in the world ... it just costs money. The government doesn't "have" any money to poor in to it ... they have to TAKE money from the taxpayers in order to "pour" money in to it. WAKE UP IDIOTS. Privatization is the only FAIR and Cost Effective system. Look at the success of America. It degrades as it migrates to socialism. READ A HISTORY BOOK.
My wife is Italian (just moved to the US 3 years ago) and we've both been to europe many many times. We can argue quality and cost any day my friend. You can either pay for your services directly or indirectly through taxation. So let's talk quality. Name a couple countries that have better quality health services than America.
typical liberal argument ... instead of citing a sensational agenda driven hollywood movie, why don't you actually make your own argument? List a couple countries that you think have better quality health services than America. Good luck. (I have seen sicko by the way ... )
"no cost" hahaha ... do you think money falls out of the sky or did Spain do all the services for free? A friend's daughter had stage 4 cancer and was on a 6 month waiting list in Canada. She ended up selling everything she had and got cured in America. She's broke but she's alive. She could have stayed in Canada ... I think funerals are "free" there too.
We pay those services with taxes, and we dont have any problem about it, cause we have a very different view of what a community is. Oh by the way, we pay as much taxes as you do, the difference is you spend that money in killing inocents in mid-west.
I pay my taxas and social medic care; I dont need it, but I may need it some day, so I dont care paying it. I prefer that, than paying a private company to steal my money.
Your comment about funerals is very stupid and unrespectful to your friends

u guys forget central america.
Depends if u divide it into political, cultural or continental maps...
What u guys need to know is that the USA Import Export buisness is about 20 % with Canada and 18 % with Mexico. 7% China, 5% Japan, 4% GB ...
So u see its highly recommended to fusion the USA Mexican and Canadian markets. But it has nothing to do with a political Union.

Also I didnt say shit to you because none of my comments to you were that offensive since I was mainly talking about the US.

freest2dogg 10 months ago
@freest2dogg I really doubt you've been to those places, but... What does Europe have to offer? Well, it's not a country, but Sweden, Germany, Norway, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and a few more all have less crime, higher salaries, and better quality of life to offer. Anyone in Europe who told you that they wished to be in the US are either from a country like Albania or Moldova, or are simply brainwashed. And it has nothing to do with a currency.
lernoschwoejn 10 months ago

NAUresistance 1 year ago
@NAUresistance What culture difference between the two are profound or even slight exactly that I can't find between Americans living in different regions of the U.S. or Canadians living in different regions of Canada? As far the sovereignty issue. What would really fundamentally change for Canadians that they could not work out in deal joining the United States exactly?
cwa1984 1 year ago 2
@cwa1984

@cwa1984 "useless nationalistic rhetoric" the globalists and those pushing the North American Union, deep integration, harmonization, trade liberalization, labour mobility, and the Consolidation of North America, would be proud of that statement!

NAUresistance 1 year ago
@NAUresistance The one world goverment isn't going to happen within any of our lifetimes because quite frankly theirs no way in hell it's going to happen unless their is an alien invasion. Seriously look at this from a pragmatic standpoint instead of parnoid standpoint. We still have relligious wars going on in the world. We have massive differences in wealth between countries and we still dictors ruling a large percent of the world's population.

letsgoforajoyride 1 year ago
@letsgoforajoyride The British treated Americans like shit and didn't allow us a voice in paraliment is the reason why we had the revolutionary war. Canada merging into the United States would have a strong voice in Congress. Your analogy of America acting like the british empire if annexation did occur is pure bullshit.
cwa1984 1 year ago 11
Excellent information looking back. May 27th 2010, President Calderon of Mexico addressed Canadian Parliament calling for more integration, harmonization, labor mobility, trade liberalization and the CONSOLIDATION of North America.
The reason they can't allow us to debate this is because North American Union is illegal. Those involved are breaking their sworn Oath and presuming powers in which the Canadian Constitution does not grant. Prosecute each and every one of them!
NAUresistance 1 year ago
I wouldn't like the North American Union. I'd prefer something more along the lines of The United States of North America. There are 30 million Canadians and 300 million Americans and 110 Mexicans. It is destiny for our three nations to develop an even more in depth relationship. Look at the European Union.
Bigd102030 1 year ago
Let's just merge Canada and the U.S. already. It avoids the bullshit of one day having to deal with a north american union.
cwa1984 1 year ago 50
@cwa1984 Merging Canada and the U.S. Is the Goal of the those seeking to establish North American Union.
Merging Canada and the United States is exactly what we DON'T NEED!
NAUresistance 1 year ago
@NAUresistance Why don't we need to have Canada and the U.S. become one nation exactly. If they were one nation Canadians would actually have a voice on what America is doing which they complain about since they don't have one now. They won't have one in a North American Union either. So why not just have the two countries become one to get rid of all the bullshit once and for all.
cwa1984 1 year ago 4
@cwa1984
NAUresistance 1 year ago
@NAUresistance I'm sorry but this is bullshit. Americans and Canadians are more like each other than other people from two bordering nations are in the world. Are societies aren't different like how the U.S. and Mexico are. If you cross the border from one country to the other by accident you do not realize you are in another country. Also when did America really try to annex Canada? Don't give me the war of 1812 because that's bullshit.

HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
Then there was that Prime Minister (god I know his name but I might mix it up with anothers don't wanna give wrong name) who Kennedy's government wasn't fond of (because we weren't giving it to the crap America was giving us). What America did was control Canada's media and ridiculed our Prime Minister. Then they sent their best strategist to run the campaign of the pro-american person running (think it was Pearson not sure tho). America needs to chill out once in a while. Tantrum for everything
HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
Once Britain supplied a warship to the southern states in the Civil War. Then America said they had claim over Canada as compensation for a MEASLY SHIP. Throughout much of the 20th Century everytime Americans disliked something a PM did they got all pissed off about it. I remember recently watching videos where Presidents call our Prime Ministers Assholes (just because they didn't want to ge tpushed around by amercia), and one even called a PM over and FREKIN CHOKE HOLDED HIM for disagreeing.
HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
Funny how the US sings about blowing up Canadians in their Anthems hey? (Back then British) They think they actually "beat" the British. How stupid. They were the brothers and cousins and family of the British. Why would Britain want to destroy their own kin. The British army could have easily obliterated them. I'm not a fan of Britain or anything (personally think they ruined much of the world), just saying that they could've owned the Americans. Voilence is Americas answer to everything.
HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
I don't want America's debt, it's stupidity, it's privitization. And come one. Canada has a much much smaller population. Our government is more efficient to govern us. A USA government would totally screw us over. Also funny thing is this reminds me of Canadian history, when they tried to govern Canada East and Canada West under one law. Didn't work. Canada still has major flaws when it comes to the progress of certain provinces screwing over the next. Im phrasing that last sentence shortly tho
HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
The United States guarantees the stability and prosperity the world has. Canada should be part of the United States, instead of a second rate world player, so that the U.S. could better utilise Canada's resources to this end. The two countries never should have been separated into two entities. We have the same culture. Canada should become part of the United States in the interest of a better world.
robertjohnson487 2 years ago
Sadly you don't have the facts on all sides. I think you should reconsider the statement you just made. Look back back back on Canada US Relations. You'll see why America is generally HATED by Canadians. You're President couldn't even remember our PM's name when he came to visit. Disgraceful I would say. And your culture is extremely different, the only similarity being in some major cities. Our Government does not represent our people. America is full of bs laws and simple-minded people. Sorry

But the difference here is we can kick him out (not sure if you can do that
HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
We could have kicked Bush out, why we didn't I don't really know. Maybe we didn't want someone who is more machine then man in office.
I'd like to see you guys join us, war wouldn't be the best way, but I would like to see it.
America get stereo typed just because we are willing to stand for what we belive in. Spend five minutes here, and you'll know that.
pieman97405 2 years ago

HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago

HokageLeafVillage 2 years ago
Culturally is not a problem, lets divide America in to quaters for a minute. Each part has a different culture, and if you joined us, it would really only be a change in the flag and a few laws, your culture would change little (if any). When you put it down on paper, a merger of the two countries would be a good thing, and in practice it might have a few kinks, but it would work vary well. Only thing that concerns me is the fact the provinces would be huge states, and I don't know why I care.
pieman97405 2 years ago 13
Exactly, our identity would not be destroyed, what would happen is we would gain a new identity. Im all for the North American Union. I mean, everyday its more and more evident that globalization is the future. Someday we will all be one.
methariel 2 years ago 2
Well, if you guys joined us as states, it would be a union, but not the NAU (I am not for a NAU, I say one big country). I would be vary happy if Canada joined us, I'd advocate to break up the larger provancies into slightly smaller states (ie Quebec & Ontario, and maybe a few others), but in the ends, a union between our two countries would be a great thing, only people I see getting mad are the Russians for losing the title of largest country. Globalization, not enough space to talk about it.
pieman97405 2 years ago

There are plenty of better ways of creating energy that is renewable such as wind, solar,Geothermal power and wave farms...
tukebeard 2 years ago
Coal is a great resource, and should be used as much as posible, it is all in the filters about how clean it is. Power to coal!
The things you listed are not effective for large areas.
pieman97405 2 years ago 3
looks too be working in onther places maybe not large scale butt limited scale so far
ps how you know it doesn`t work large scale, nobody has tried it yet
djdeath12 2 years ago
The economics of something like solar power or wind power being practical for large scale genorating of power do not look good. Just because it works on small scale, means nothing about large scale.
Once again, more power to coal!

The corporations and wealthy elite have a globalization agenda. They are traitors to their people and country, all in the name of greed and power. As an American, I fully support a free Canada and hope Canadians will support a free USA. No to tyranny and yes to liberty! Power to the people!

Their not talking about the NAU, but something along the lines United States of North America

If we do it will be by Conquest, but historians would write it as Consent.

the health care system is so much better than the US??? READ A HISTORY BOOK.
trenton1980 4 years ago
you're an idiot...
america's health care is the best in the world?
You better see Michael Moore's movie.. SICKO...
you should come to europe some day and compare to your health system. You're an inocent, I'm sorry for you.
cratesors 4 years ago
My wife is Italian (just moved to the US 3 years ago) and we've both been to europe many many times. We can argue quality and cost any day my friend. You can either pay for your services directly or indirectly through taxation. So let's talk quality. Name a couple countries that have better quality health services than America.
trenton1980 4 years ago
ok, listen, look for SICKO here in you tube...
you can see the movie.
And by the way, Italy is a third world in Europe...
I dare you to take a walk in Napoles...
you will end up with nothing in your pockets
cratesors 4 years ago
typical liberal argument ... instead of citing a sensational agenda driven hollywood movie, why don't you actually make your own argument? List a couple countries that you think have better quality health services than America. Good luck. (I have seen sicko by the way ... )
trenton1980 4 years ago
France, Spain, Canada... too much to count.
Listen, the mother of a friend of my had cancer in spain, and I know from them how they were treated, AT NO COST AT ALL!
cratesors 4 years ago
"no cost" hahaha ... do you think money falls out of the sky or did Spain do all the services for free? A friend's daughter had stage 4 cancer and was on a 6 month waiting list in Canada. She ended up selling everything she had and got cured in America. She's broke but she's alive. She could have stayed in Canada ... I think funerals are "free" there too.
trenton1980 4 years ago
We pay those services with taxes, and we dont have any problem about it, cause we have a very different view of what a community is. Oh by the way, we pay as much taxes as you do, the difference is you spend that money in killing inocents in mid-west.
I pay my taxas and social medic care; I dont need it, but I may need it some day, so I dont care paying it. I prefer that, than paying a private company to steal my money.
Your comment about funerals is very stupid and unrespectful to your friends
