Lots of idols (japanese, korean, taiwanese etc.) can't even sing and are more famous for their faces, flashy dance moves or fashion than for their voices. There are some amazing western singers too, they don't have to learn from asian singers.

@tamaleneko I agree with you :D There are some great western singers, but it seems their quality is not as good as international stars and yes many of them seem to be famous only for their beauty and looks, just like Taylor Swift and maybe Justin Beiber.I understand too that Koreans base themselves a LOT on looks and some k-pop bands are really not all that. Might be cause its something new though that people think of asian singers being all up there, everyone has their own originality though.
