@Defensivelax Not really. The camies are FROGs. Or "Fire resistant outer garment". These are more breathable, much better than standard camies. The helmet, perhaps. The gloves? They are needed. Ever been shot in the knuckles?

If you were doing a MARSOC impression, it might be a bit easier because in the USMC, they would have the most leniency in picking their gear because they are SOF. If you have any questions let me know.

He came home with almost the exact same type of loadout. However, he might have been given leniency because he is so high in rank. Second, I've had several active duty Marines who just returned from Afghanistan say my rig looked exactly what they used. I went for a Recon look, with the materials I could obtain in my price range. I'm not recreating a WWII loadout. Marines customize their loadouts with availble gear, and so do I.

Yes, some Marines uses issued gears(But I'm not sure about the person protection since it's regarding the insurance stuffs), but they uses those for reasons, and that reason won't be "Cheap". TT, Specter, Spec-Ops is what they chooses usually.
