I had a similar problem, but i remembered in ff8 theres was a fiend that would not drop energy crystals if you had mug equipped.so i removed mug and just had machine killer equipped on everyone just in case, and eventually i got an accelerator and a rose crystal, went straight back upstairs and saved in the white boa. Now im wasting an entire day learning the rose crystal. Not even sure if this is real advice but it worked for me coincidence or not.

Yes, unequip any RTC1,2 and 3 in your INMORTALS and equip them with Turn cast.

RTC3(acelerator) is just for Sed, for he first and third turn. Sry if my english isn´t the best. Good luck.

You can equip Sed with Rose quarzt too instead of acelerator. It surely may work same way just before Killalon´s reflect.

You should try anyway, EVEN if you don´t equip Sed with Reduce cast time 3 skill or rose quarzt.

Para cargártelo antes de que llegue su tercer turno deberías arriesgarte con el dividir de Kaim y Sez en el segundo. Si no lo hicieras te quedarías a 10.000-20.000 pv de matarlo.

Con este setup me aseguro que los elementales vayan antes que su reflejo, aunque puede que alguna vez puedan alterarse los turnos por estar tan ajustados.

El caso es que Sed con acelerador y un elemental bajo y Sarah/Ming con cuarzo rosa y doble elemental++ actuan antes, y Kaim/Sez con cuarzo rosa y un solo dividir lo hacen después (con doble lo hacian antes).

Probé este setup como 5-6 veces y me funcionó en todas aunque hay gente a la que este setup no le ha funcionado igual, o eso dicen. Si no recuerdo mal, ninguno de los inmortales tenía equipado ni lanzamiento ágil 1 ni 2, sólo la habilidad de cuarzo rosa ya que ello podría alterar los turnos.

En cualquier caso, mi intención era consumir el reflejo con 3 elementales y por ello el setup es sólo orientativo.

You don't need rose quartz for that strategy, i did it without it, rest of the equipment was the same, and it worked, i also beat him in three turns. Accelerator is a must habe item for that fight.

Almost same skills dezzraven uses except for Reduce time cast 2. I unequipped RTC 1 and 2 and used "One turn cast" instead. I suggest a min level between 75-80 btw.

Dam!!! Finally beat him. Was kinda weird cause I did everything your video and description suggest and he kept coming in third on the second turn with reflect. Finally after the 6th try (don't know what happen every stat was still the same didn't change nothing either, turn tail every battle until I got to him) some how he ended coming in last on the second turn. my second turn keeps gettin messed up....i did the double cast, single cast etc for the turn timing but ming and sarah wind up casting the elementals before he casts reflect so then i get 2 divides in my face, which screws up the 3rd turn and then i get smacked with the planet

Ming and Sarah had equiped Reduce Cast Time1,2 or/and 3? maybe combined with rose quarzt could slightly alter the turn timing acting before i suggest desequiping it at all if you use One Turn Cast.

Otherwise I really don´t know why that happends to you and not to me.

Probably not, at least for this description, but i never tried with RCT3 instead rose quarzt in Ming and Sarah.

Maybe you should try another elemental sequence to correct the turn timing, not necessarily double cast or even not using exclusively high elementals with Ming and Sarah, there should be a way with RCT3 to cast only after prof K reflect. Did you stack RCT3 with RCT2 and 1 in your characters? that maybe should be too much reduce time.

Also, whoever decided that this dungeon didn't need any save point in it ought to receive a disciplinary! A save point just before the Killalon fight at least would have helped a lot and would be much better than dragging yourself through 25 floors of boring dungeon each time you want another stab at this boss.

Gotta agree with dragon12129 on this one. This strategy just doesn't hold together, except in an ideal world. There are way too many random factors with this boss to not put it down to luck. Such as when he casts reflect at the start of turn 3 once you have all your divides lined up. Then another time he cast Annihilation at the end of turn 2, wiping the whole party. Really don't have time for this boss anymore, may just go and complete the game instead.

Well, i still consider this strat solid thought prof K rarely may change routine. Feel free to think that this only works in an ideal world ( ideal world that worked to some people apart of me ), its simply done based in consuming its reflect by elementals, thats all i wanted to show, everything else is just a turn timing factor that somehow i wanted to solve. Take it easy, this is not a fullproof science.

You can always go to Numara atolon and fight 2 silver kelolon battles for 32 sp (with double sp gain skill equiped). You will get 999sp much faster than in this dungeon.

This strat is for defeating it in 3 turns (just before he may use FIRST anihilation in its third turn or other fatal skill)i don´t know if you really get it.

I repeat, this strat worked several times without problems while capturing vid, only once it used reflect after Ming/Sarah/Sed elemental casts. If the second turn timing is correct chances of killing it are really high cose surely will die before it can act in the third turn(not as a counter act).

This strategy IS NOT foolproof. I have tried it twice and both times the boss does NOT cast reflect immediately, so I just wasted a couple of small spells and got nailed with reflected Divides, not the other way around. Obviously this throws off the timing of the fight. The second time around, the boss RECAST Reflect immediately after losing it, another problem the poster doesn't mention.

This battle IS random; there is simply no way of knowing what the f-ing bastard will do in the fight.

It worked to me several times while recording vid (6-7 times in a row, then tried more times and worked too), but i think there is a small chance that prof K may cast reflect after Ming and Sarah´s doble elemental++ and not before, it happened to me once cose sometimes turns become quite random. Any small skill setup variation may affect it when turn preferences are too close.

The reflect renew never happened to me, thats really a problem if happends but not a usuall counter, rare in any case.

Anyway, this strat is not 100% foolproof but usually works cose prof K is quite predictable and it reflects itself near always at the very beggining of the 2º turn and only small counter variations may fail, like a new reflect.

About previous response, i forgot to mention that Ming and Sarah´s DOUBLE elemental++ cast is crucial cose with a single cast they usually cast before prof K reflect while rose quarzt skill equiped.

In my skill setup, rose quarzt skill replaces all other shorten cast skills, so didn´t equip them cose they may alter slightly turn timing.

By any chance does this dungeon have a save point anywhere? Have fought on through the whole place and didn't see one anywhere, which seemed a bit odd for a dungeon this size. Was very annoying when I got all the way to the boss and got sent right to the start again once I died. Couldn't really be bothered with that happening again...

Best thing to do is save somewhere close (Move the White Boa close and save then go out in the Nautilus) then use Turn Tail skill to get to the bottom where the boss is basically unharmed...That's what i did

yeah, Sed is the one equiped with it, just for cast divide once in the first and third turn.

Subboss at floors 16-19 drops(rare) it, higher spawning odds at floor 19 cose only 2 possible enemies there, the other one drops the best ring in the game (All-Round ring), making a nice floor for battles ^^.

yeah, it can be really frustrating if no luck, rare drop rate in LO is excessively low.

Take your time, it will drop it sooner or later (same happened to me and after countless battles it dropped 2 rose quarzt at once). You may use dezzraven video strat if you give up in any case, really helpfull.

You can get it from Supreme X in downloadable dungeon floors 21-24, but higher odds to appear in floor 23. Its a rare drop so you may need a LOT of tries.

This fight is not luck based even without the roze quartz and accelerator. I didn't have either, but beat him in 4 turns with no deaths. It's all about using complete defense and reflect to counteract annhilation and/or kelo ultimate hit.

Kelo timate and anihilations usage after Professor´s thirth turn is complitly random so you need some luck even with complete defense or reflect, you waste turns by using those while Prof K recovers 20000 per turn.

I´m not saying that is impossible but some luck factor still there. If you have found a strat that works ALWAYS without problems i suggest uploading it, cose that was my intention.

You prolly just used Break Hit, which disregards Defense. That might work. Longer, and you'll need to keep up the defense, but it would work.

Well, ValkyriePROfile83, I'm not trying to sound overly critical or attack you personally, I'm just saying that I tried your strategy following it to the letter twice and both times for whatever reason it failed. I'm glad you had success with it and I hope that next time I give it a go I'll do likewise but right now I'm a bit sore from seeing the whole thing fail.

Also, I too did not use any Reduce Casting Time for the same reason. So I just want to clarify; should I use a double-elemental for both Sarah AND Ming to wipe out the reflect? It makes sense but this does contradict what you originally posted. I suppose I could give that a try in any case.

No problem, thats why i upload vids like this, to discuss things like this.

Even if Ming and Sarah double cast elemental++, they only cast one each cose while reflecting somehow in this game cancels second cast (like in this vid, it reflects firts elemental++, then no second one). DOUBLE cast is ONLY for a correct turn timing, NOT to wipe out reflect. This is important, a single cast alter timing making Ming/Sarah cast first, doing it before prof k reflect, thats what i wanted to prevent.

In fact, would be the same if cast a single or double elemental++ in order to wipe out reflect (reflect cancels 2º cast) BUT NOT for the turn timing. Reflect needs 3 spells to be vanished, even with the double cast, Ming, Sarah and Seth elemental casts are needed for it.
