  • i found this at tjmaxx for 19.99 :DD

  • where do u buy it at

  • lol seeing the sheet turn clear is somewhat satisfying to me =)

  • your really pretty!!! thanx for the review. i used clarins sunblock and it made my face oily and i do not have oily skin so i stopped... or maybe i put to much

  • Its hard to find a youtube beauty guru that has the same skin type as me. Usually, everyone out there has good skin already, and they don't get oily and don't get acne. I'm really happy that I found your channel. I'm so trying this product. Thanks for the review. :)

    +subscribe^^

  • Is this good for oily skin as well? does it like break out when used by oily skinned people like me ? lol.. Im a guy btw..=)

  • oh you sort of have the newyork accent love it

  • Hi there, you can try Kose blotting papers as my friend who has extremely oily skin said that she's used many & Kose blotting papers sheets r the best.

  • it's not oil-free, but it works well with oily skin. Make damn sure to remove it like how you would remove waterproof mascara, after all it is a water-resistant product. The ultimate cleansing oil from the same line is great for that purpose and makeup. And about why you would pay $27 for a sunscreen, well, everybody has a different budget :).

  • is it oil free?

  • People with dry skin can also use this sunscreen. If your skin feels too dry then add some moisturizer to the sunscreen.

  • @twinklingbluestar will it show off flakes?

  • i have this product which has 50spf protection for face.... suncreen if you want to apply make up you must use this suncreen first and then smashbox foundation primer and your favorite make up foundation or i use smashbox halo over it .... and its perfect.....

  • Hi thanx for the review it was awesome! Just wondering if you know if this sunscreen is oil free. Thanx again!

  • why would i pay 27 dollars for a sunscreen? =/ That doesn't make sense.

  • lol. . .

  • well if its hard to find a product that is suitable for you you would want to pay that price! esp. when its ur skin!

however shiseido has annual sales u can fnd it for 1/2 price =) soo watch out for the sales that happens about twice a year in canada and the states

  • Well like she said in the review, it really works well for people with oily skin (and on all skin types.) You have to test it out or try it to know how high the quality of the sunscreen is. It is worth it for the price.

  • @GosselinLuva prevention is much cheaper in the long run, than trying to fix the problem.

  • Hi there, I mentioned before that I was using shiseido ultimate sun protection spf 55. Unfortunately, it clogged my pores making it larger so I switched to dermalogica super sensitive spf 30. That one works well but leaves my face looking oily/greasy. I'm thinking of switching back to shiseido brand because that's the only one that gives a great matte finish without any shines. I was wondering if the spf 36 that you're using clog your pores? I have more of a combination/sensitive asian skin.

  • Hey thank you for the review. I have the same problem as you. It's good that you can use it as a moisturizer too, I use the Shiseido pureness one and I think it's awesome. An extra thumps up for you because there aren't that many reviews on youtube for shiseido products.

I want to add a few words for Kelsiisinger. SHUT UP!!!! If you don't like her vid's fine but do you have to insult her? She might have oily skin but she still looks a right side better than someone like you!!!

  • yay! thank you for the details. i have oily skin like yours. before i buy any skincare or makeup, i always want to know if it will make it worse. will look forward to your videos from now on :-)

  • Hi there, I just started using the shiseido ultimate smooth sun protection cream spf55 and I love it. It's not greasy/oil on my face and absorbs right into my face that gives a matte finish look. I didn't realize that came in a extra smooth sun protection with a lesser spf35. Can I ask if that one is also less greasy/oil on face and absorbs into the skin?

  • i mention in this video that the spf35 is great for controlling oil. unfortunately i have never tried the ultimate spf55 version, so i cannot compare the two. if the spf55 works well for you, i say stick with it.

  • Could you use this on your eye area too?

  • i would not recommend using this on your eye area.

  • omg! is that your wedding ring? it's huge!

  • haha no that is not a wedding/engagement ring.

  • well i dont understand why people give negative on my last comment guess i sounded kinda rude.. but i was trying to help.. the higher the spf in a moisturizer, the more greasy it is.. and for you with a naturally oily skin it's not the best to protect yourself with an spf moisturizer... foundation with spf would keep a matte finish without you greasing up.

  • i love the shiseido japanese line Annessa SunBlock, too bad they dun sell it in north america, i usually buy it in hk

  • I promise if you follow these three easy steps twice a day you will be cured. My face cleared up in about 5 days. I used Accutane, proactive, Murad, weird potions and lotions and home remedies, I tried it all ... this WORKS!!! Good luck, I know acne cripled my life socially for yrs and now I have a new lease on life =)

  • For those suffering with acne mild/moderate/ or severe acne all you have to do is follow these three EASY steps. I HAD severe acne for about 12yrs and I am now cured of it completely.

1-Wash with any mild face wash (I use Philosophy "Purity" from Sephora) you dont have to spend lots of money on products.

2-Then moisturize with any lotion or cream (I use Philosophy "Hope in a jar")

3-Last, apply any 10% or 5% benzoyl peroxide over the counter cream ( I use clean and clear "Persa Gel 10")

  • you said that this product is "very water-resistant" what type of cleanser do you used to take it off ?

    thanks :D

  • when i wrote "would you recommend this to me?" i ment the shiseido cream you use.. ;)

  • hi. your so cute and honest =) i just love your blogging.. :) why do you use sunblock everyday?

i use sunblock myself everyday as my day cream because I have very uneven skintone and stuff, dont want any more spots there, and to prevent wrinkles ofcourse.. ;) I use OBAGI SPF36 now, would you recomend this to me? I need a very high protective suncream..

  • is the lotion hard to remove after a normal day? because i heard SPF is bad if you leave it on your skin over night and im afraid my usual cleanser can't get it off

  • this particular cream is "very water-resistant" so you will need a good cleanser to remove it.

  • do you think the shiseido pureness deep foam cleanser would work?

  • unfortunately, i have not tried that product so i cannot say.

  • shiseido has a product thats made for the suncare line to remove the very resistant suncare products that they have its the ultimate cleansing oil thats available at shiseido counters i believe =)

  • Thanks for this review . . . I had been looking for a sunscreen/day moisturizer to use in the morning and I'd been wanting to try this one from Shiseido. However, I use Chanel Precision skincare and I'm anxious to stray away from using Chanel since it's wonderful for my skin. Have you tried any of the Chanel sunscreens, is this Shiseido one superior than that of Chanel?

  • unfortunately, i have not tried any of the chanel sunscreens.

  • That's aight ;-) I trusted your review and bought one but with the higher SPF of 55 PA+++ and its great! I can't believe the day went on without me having to wipe my face off with a tissue because it stayed matte the whole day! Thank you for your honest review :-)

  • Does this product clog pores?

    Thanks

  • i use so many products on my face, i wouldn't be able to single out one product to be responsible for clogging my pores. however, i can say that this sun cream has not caused any more breakouts than i normally have. i believe this also comes in a lotion formula which may be a light alternative to the cream.

  • hey hun i watch one of your other vids u said u heard bad things about bb cream, however u did not link it.. and there are more positives on bb cream, i think u should consider it another try, it can really REALLY improve your skin!! i think u should help your skin, (noticing u said u break out alot) bb cream also contain Sun screen =)

  • wow I always wondered what HG meant :o)

  • what about my skin is dry skin.. can i also use that too sis.?

  • this cream is great for all skin types.

  • it that for face too?

  • this particular sun protection cream is specifically for the face.

  • it that for face too?

  • I loved your review on this. Especially because it's so detailed that I didn't have any questions left:) I've generally liked shiseido but didn't want to spend that much money on skin care or makeup, but I think that I will start from now on(especially because it's from japan and I'm asian, and I guess it would be better for me).

    Again....thank you for the review!!!

  • do yu think the purpose sunblock would be good, for a 12 year old :o?

i dont have dry skin, or oily, but i dont have normal skin either, i have acne once in a while, :x so do yu think i should get it?

  • yes, i do recommend the purpose sunblock for you.

it does not cause acne, however it does not do much for oil control.

    hope this helps!

  • if i am not mistaken, i tried looking this product up online and one of the ingredients listed was talc, and i recalled talc was bad for your skin? i could be mistaken, so could someone please explain to me this? i would appreciate it very much. thank you!

  • talc IS one of the ingedients, however it is almost halfway down the ingredient list so it does not make up the bulk of the product.

    hope this helps!

  • ooohh yeah it does! thanks !

  • hello! personally, i don't know because i've never tried the spf55 version. try reading reviews on makeupalley.

  • Hi

Thank you for your videos. I started to use shseido products and i really like this brand. i just want to ask you is it ok to use shiseido sunblock "cream" with oily skin?? because i heard that "lotion" is better for oily skin and the "cream" for normal to dry skin.

  • hmm, i'm not too sure. i have combo/oily skin and i'm very happy with the cream version.

perhaps during warmer months, i'll try to lotion version.

  • this is really helpful!

i heard that shiseido s/s can be really hard to remove since it's very waterproof, how do you remove it?

  • i use olay daily facials cleansing cloths to remove all of my makeup, including eye makeup.

  • Thanks for the review! What lipstick are you wearing? I love the color! Thanks

  • can't say i remember for sure but most likely n.y.c. lipstick in 324B Cameo with a little bit of MAC lipglass in Underage.

  • Have you ever used Eucerin products with SPF? They use zinc oxide and titanium dioxide (physical sunblocks) and are made for sensitive skin. I use their Extra Protective Moisture Lotion SPF 30. It doesn't make my skin oily by the end of the day. This and other Eucerin products have pretty good reviews on MUA.

  • i haven't tried the eucerin spf products but they sound interesting. thanks for the recommendation!

  • also, have u heard of DHC japanese skin care/makeup line?..it has review on MUA too...but u can only buy online...it's cheaper but just as good as shiseido...

  • i have heard of dhc's cleansing oil. i'll check them out when i can. thanks!

  • thanks for the review...I have the spf 55 or something...but next time I'll get this instead...it's cheaper too...n I don't need that high of spf

  • my skin is just likes yours and i've been trying to find something that could calm my oiliness. i'll be checking this out next. thanks for the review!

  • Thank you for the review! ^.^

It helped me out a lot. <3

  • can you make a video about your skin routine? thanks i have acne prone skin too and i'm looking for a new cleanser that would clear away my acnE..

  • i wish i could, but the products i use aren't labeled with brands or ingredients. my esthetician buys her products wholesale so she splits one big bottle amongst a bunch of empty, smaller bottles and sells them like that. i'll try to make a video explaining what my routine is but i don't know what the products are exactly. i'm sorry =[

  • you are not gross! you dont get shiney! you glow!!!
