  • Nice! But is it just me or does it sound like you have a little bit of artifacts due to faulty input / output buffers? Or is that in the song?

  • super channel! thank you

  • nice track :)!!! this student is talented..I look forward to take this course

  • HEY whats the name of this track, i really really like it, its great!!!!

I looked at myspace but theres only one track and its not that one :(

  • @Lutschaz we're not sure of the name im afraid. You'll have to get in touch with DJ Nayrobi to find out.

  • OMG this is awesome.. I would really like to start a tutorial from the basic.. I have many ideas to make a few tracks.. electronic music is my life.

  • Why the EQ3 bass-kill instead of a high-pass filter?

  • @W4RW017

EQ3 "colorizes" sound quite a bit. I guess techno, minimal and "old schoolish" house stuff is not about perfection. So maybe that's the point.

  • No offense, but shut up and let us listen. lol

  • wow... cool!!

  • 5:05 Yeeeeaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!

  • /results?search_query=Tech-House&aq=f

  • @EspritDeMusique That's actually a little cheaper than what it usually costs for online music courses bro.

  • I'd like to know who made this? The person obviously has talent...;0)

  • @oli2300 its DJ Nayrobi (check the video description)

  • @pointblankonline LOL... Thanks for the quick reply anyway.

  • hey bro.¡¡¡... where can i download the tonic vsti?

  • wanna load this sound >.<

  • point blank how much is ur course in ableton beginner and how long for??

  • @babymiczy Most of our Ableton courses are 4 weeks long and cost £325. Full details of all our courses are available at pointblankonline [dot] net/courses.

  • BBBBAAAAAAHHHHHNNNNHHHHOOFFFFF xD

  • @EspritDeMusique ... pointblank is not ur typical how to make a beat sites... u actually produce and the producer/teacher help u improve YOUR work... its really something else... if u dont want to pay its up to you... i would

  • We think the price is a fair one, each course is taught by a professional producer, who has experience in that genre. Alongside your weekly tutorials your tutor provides 1-2-1 training where you receive bespoke, personalised feedback on your work. Therefore the time, techniques and opinion of an industry professional are incorporated into the cost, as is the research and development of our content.Take a look at the student feedback videos on our site if you have any further doubts

  • does pointblank offer schooling in german?

and how much is that four week training?

  • @amicrille We only teach in English i'm afraid. All the course prices can be found on our website: pointblankonline [dot] net

    All the best

  • when he switches to the session view, how do I get all that stuff in there (to sounds stupid all those different colored boxes lol)?

  • con esa compu cualquiera

  • This is so awesome, I wish I could afford that... :C

  • go to fruity loops

  • Sooo Sick !!! ..

  • i just started to produce my own music with ableton some weeks ago

and i want to make some music just like that but in the instrumentracks aren´t sounds like that even the synthesizers are missing. where do you get these sounds from and how do you do these sick build ups?

very good job nice music keep going to post tutorials thx

  • @zizouffm Hope you are enjoying Ableton so far. This video is a great example of the standard our students reach when completing our 4 week courses and the techniques we cover.

Regarding the sounds; as far as I can tell the student has used a mixture of 3rd party plug ins, VST's from Ableton and sounds they have sampled themselves all of which are covered and encouraged on the course.

    Thanks for the question,

    Anthony

    PB

  • @pointblankonline

Very Nice! your student reach this level in just 4Weeks!?!?!

    Great!

  • @zizouffm buy the producer version of Ableton and get all the Schidizzle.

... or do a search on the Internet for "FREE VST" and start downloading. Make sure to install into the proper VST folder (noted under preferences)

  • very nice, really wish i could afford the class right now, but at least these vids inspire me

  • @drksecretl0ve Stay tuned and hopefully the videos will continue to inspire and inform you until you can get yourself on a course. Any questions please don't be afraid to get in touch.

    Cheers

  • Hey very nice, love the texture of it.... : )

  • @DJxSGGxNeo Glad you like it. Stay tuned for more great tutorials and content. Cheers,

  • best lesson? listen to other songs from what genre you want to learn from, and try to do what you've heard :) -

  • @DesypherDesypher That is definitely good advice, I cannot deny that but the operative word in your comment is "try". For some hard working / self motivated / talented producers this is the best way forward; other people, however, need more guidance and to be shown what to do. Neither way is wrong they're just different, it's a matter of finding what works best for you.

    Cheers

    PB

  • I have the same sound problems while playing track with many effects loaded :D

I thought I suck, but as I see, Ableton sux more :D

    anyway, nice track ;)

  • I like the vids to be honest.

  • @EspritDeMusique We believe the price is a fair one. Courses of this depth take significant time and resources to develop. You are also paying for the time of genuine professional producers (who have their other production and performing commitments) to anlalyse your own tracks each week and provide 1-2-1 video feedback. Investing in your own knowledge is a lot more astute then spending thousands on studio gear with no idea how to use it. I'd advise you to look at our student testamonial page.

  • LOGIC STUDIO Nº1 AND ABLETON Nº2 LOL ;=))))

  • thanks for this site mannn

i have search log on dis beatpacks

  • 'so you can see the electronic drums here.. purely analogue..'

    ><

  • @cartesiaLive

I love to use all my pure analogue vsts (like my arp, moog and buchla modular vsts ... so much better than the old digital vsts) .... I also have a few "real - OldSkool - original" analogue synths I mix in and use like the Roland GAIA, NordLead, MicroKorg and my AKAI S900 analogue sampler. Cheers.

  • @BuzzBrain69 LOL! =D

  • @cartesiaLive analogue electronics, hello! but that's ok, as most people don't understand the difference between analogue and digital electronics. obviously it's analogue modelling using computer (digital) software. microtonic is a fantastic little synth

  • @cartesiaLive electronic drums are always analog or samples of analog.. although its not truly analog like a 808 oscillating the drum tone, the microtonic is the same thing as that but software, like Ultrabeat for Logic Pro.

Most other drums on a computer are samples and do not offer the same kind of manipulation or sound.

Its the difference between using a sampler or a softsynth, microtonic is a softsynth for drums.

  • @JoeyRec yes.. microtonic is a softsynth. it is digital, not analog...

electronic drums are not always 'analog or samples of analog'. Digital synthesis is a viable method of producing drum sounds as well!

  • @cartesiaLive Your right, good call.

  • @cartesiaLive i think he means that it is not sampled, but still not analog :P !

  • @GeromeMouawad synthesized! hmm or programmed is better word

  • DAMN! Nice, really nice indeed. Great Job

  • nice track!

  • 5.04 is the best part :D

  • Nice tune but you haven't taught us anything.

  • This video aims to demonstrate what is possible if you combine all the techniques taught on the Minimal Tech Pro Producer course.

On the course itself you will get a thorough explanation how to create these textures and effects through tutorial videos, extensive course notes and 1-2-1 feedback videos.

  • @pointblankonline oooooo you little tease lol.

  • Haha! Can't give away all our secrets on youtube!

  • can you hyperdraw the effects on the track if not how do you actully do it? im too used to using logic i only recintly got Ableton thanks in advanced

  • i love when the beat kicks in at 2.02. sounds so sexy!

  • CHECK OUT MY NEW VIDEO - electro music freestyle @ Tonspieler

within maschine, padkontrol, remote sl and uc 33e

  • awesome track!

  • This sounds too standard & raw... sorry but from an expensive school i expected more. Sounds nothing like a professional techno track.

  • maybe a bit harsh fella, if this track is made an amateur doing an internet course (im assuming it is) it ain't that bad, i agree it needs a bit more work to get it more professional sounding, but surely its supposed to be sounding raw it was made by a student not a seasoned pro.

  • @smudga99 ok then, soz.

  • takin this a step further then, what would make this more professional sounding then? Would would seasoned pros be doing / not doing with this production to make it sound professional?

  • @britishmikey the drums are low>>(not being negative just mean they dont pound right) everything is a bit static. use dramatic for your drums. the bass on the up beat is kinda weak and plain give it some proper sub treatment lastly there arent any real dynamics everything is rather flat CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM othrwse great attmpt maybe tease in smthng with a meldy just to give it a musical element even though its minimal

GREAT TRACK THOUGH GOOD JOB ONLY MY THOUGHTS

  • @mynus303 I dont think it was intended to be some epic track. The video is showcasing what base techniques are learned for making minimal tech. Considering most of the instruments were albeton based -excluding microtonik - applying the same techniques to top notch vsti's would produce solid results.

  • @britishmikey the arrangement and track in general is great so it'd be mainly the dynamics ie eq, compression and mixing which you wouldn't cover in great detail on an internet course. Then of course you could send it off to a pro studio for mastering where it would be given a final "polish" of eq and multiband compression to get it banging nicely.

  • it´s not masterd i guess..

  • that sounds nice at 2:20!

  • wow nice track *****

  • hi i was wondering how u made ur percussions? im a producer at making trance/electro house as you can see in my profile but i wanted to start making techouse minimal for my production. i use fl studio xxl 8 btw. ps. awesome song!!

  • Producing this style of percussion sounds is covered in depth on the Ableton Minimal Tech Pro Producer course.

You can find the link to the course for the full brochure in the info (top right of screen).

  • blanco

  • really much pro

i wish i could have such skills

  • wow... your cpu is running like hell!

    anyway, cool project!

  • hey sorry i want to start making my own music useing ableton i just want to know is it difficult useing this software and its diffrent options? thanx in advanced

  • As with all music production software packages, it will take a fair amount of time to learn how the interface works and understand the various tools.

However once you have got to grips with the basics, Ableton is commonly considered the most intuitive software to create music on.

If you are a beginner, then our Ableton Live Production Course will save you a lot of time with this initial learning process.

  • nicely done, check out my tracks made with Live 7, Reason 4, Protools 7, Acid Pro 6, FM8 and Korg Legacy Cell......just google "orillasound" for my homepage..peace n stay cool :)

  • Very Nice Track =]

  • great video, great help, thank you!

  • They are audio tracks set up to receive individual outputs from Microtonic.....which is used to create the beats on the course

  • reall good! are these bought samples are did they come with it?

  • wow

  • nice use of elements.

i've always wanted to make the minimal techno course (in ableton live i think).

its a pitty i cant pay those 300 bucks :(

Btw what are those 5 or 6 channels with monitor set to in (orange) without anything on the channel? are they rewire ins ?

    from which secuencer?

    thanks

  • Those enrolled on the course receive weekly personalised feedback and can ask direct questions on the webchat. You may also find the answer youre looking for is in one of the other 50 videos that come with the course.

  • there bus channels , i think lol

  • its whethere the input is set to auto or in

  • I think there Audio Bus' Dude so many elements can be sent to one channel for processing?
