It feels oily is because it is silicone based and it's not really oily, it's slippery. That's what silicone does, make your face feel smooth(faked smooth as I call it). All silicone based primer does that. I also feel that I have to use quite a bit of it, but I heard that it actually does blend out if you just keep blending, the "quickly absorbed" feeling is also because of the silicone in it. I still use a lot though LOL
@bootsaholic hi!! just pass by too ask u if u did find a good face primer... OHH nd where did u get ur eye primer ?? please let me know nd by the way ur soo preety hope u make some more vids soon !!!!!! k bye !! :)
i absolutely love the bare minerals primer. it goes on super smooth, it doesn't feel oily to me at all and it makes my liquid foundation glide on soooo smooth
i also have oily skin, but it's not VERY severe. for me, i use one oil blotting sheet around midday and after that i'm fine. i do have some random dry spots though.
for me, this primer is AMAZING. i feel that foundation and powder leave my skin TOO matte and dead looking. this gives me a nice natural looking glow. like perfect skin without makeup on. also, if you have any flaky skin patches, this smoothes over them perfectly and your foundation will look flawless.
Hey I think you should try the shiseido makeup base tube SPF 15. it's really good on oily combination skin. I really like it. I couldn't use it for everyday use because I'm sensitive to the fragrance in the ingredients. But you should give it a try. :)
oo i've actually tried a sample of the shiseido makeup base! i thought it worked okay. i'm not too sure bc i only got 3 uses out of the sample..but it seemed to help make foundation application smoother. i am not 100% sure abt the lasting power though bc my face oiled up and foundation shifted before the end of the day. but i shall retry it! thanks for the suggestion!! =D
glad i got the sample at the checkout. sa a rule of thumb, when you wash your face and dry it put the moisturizer and wait for ten minutes before applying any primer. the moisturizer needs to set in your skin
Hi, Thanks for the review. Have you tried Ulta brand primer? It feels smooth and is non-oily feel. In fact, it feels kinda dry on my skin (I have dry skin). The Ulta brand primer cost about $18 if I remember correctly.
me to i have the same type of skin as you and i am still looking for a good face primer so please keep me in mind if you find any I would really appreciate it
do you think this would be good for dry skin?
