They never stated anything about being against hunting. They are against trapping the animal to death, causing unnecessary harm to the animal. Unless you torture the animals or kill them for nothing, hunting is fine.
I was enraged when I saw those two beautiful squirrels torture-murdered by some despicable subhumans. Such barbarians should be driven into an elephant trap themselves. That's the only thing they deserve.
Thank you Skunk Whisperer for being human enough to not harm, let alone kill the adorable squirrels and other animals in the course of your work.
The main reason animals damage our crops, tear garbarge, or buildings, or even attack people IS BECAUSE we have taken their habitats and/or their food sources... I'm not for animal rights, but I am for animal welfare. I'm not against hunting, but I do believe we should only kill if we plan to eat it, and I believe we should do so in the most human way possible whether hunting, or in animals raised for market. Why can't we provide some habitats on our property, and even some feeding spots?
Beautifully said. I agree with everything except for one thing - plz remember, wildlife is smart - do not think that wildlife is causing problems because it has been displaced - think for a moment - they have learned how to adapt... if you were a raccoon, what would be more appealing, a knot hole in a tree or a warm fuzzy insulation filled attic? Humans have certainly altered the ecosystem. Wildlife is smart. If there is a will, there is a way. Wildlife HAS that will, they will find a way.
Sometimes my dad used our dogs to just frighten the coons or possums...away without hurting them. After getting on my own, I just put out dog food for them...fed them... to keep them out of garbage, or anywhere I didn't want them to tear into. As for the skunk whisperer being a carpenter...so what ? Jesus was a carpenter...smiile. POINT being, you don't have to have a "degree" to know from EXPIRENCE how to how to be an expert. I've rehabbed many animals & know more than many vets.
Thanks you. Co-existing does not mandate feeding. Wild animals become more imprinted when fed and it creates an unhealthy dependency in most cases. Nature is tough. Survival of the most fit (starvation, death by highways, rabies) helps cleanse our wildlife and make it stronger. On the other hand, for example, when we shoot coyotes to control them, they come back stronger and healthier in the generations to come. Wildlife will adapt and overcome. We can evolve from traditional wildlife control.
I like his video, and I think we all need to take responsibility for our world, our earth, ourselves, our animals, our children, etc... People used to TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ~~ meaning they solved their own problems, PEACEABLY if at all possible. We co-existed with coons, possums, bobcat, cougars, bears, squirrels, rabbits, and any other number of animals, my dad farmed, and he never minded the coons getting a few years of corn, if they got to rambunkous he's use different scents, etc.
Thank you. Ranch, farm, flocks, crops, herds and the humane management of nuisance wildlife problems associated with them is near to my heart and is where a lot of progress has been made recently in regards to humane methods. Your father was before his time. I admire him, as well as my father, for having "out of the box" thinking in this area.
Let me tell everyone a thing or two, when are animals are gone, extinct from our Earth, mankind will right behind them in extinction. YES, we are shepards of our animals / our Earth !! God gave mankind dominion over the Earth... THAT meant mankind was TRUSTED to care for Earth and her creatures... Why do some people find it so hard to co-exist with our aimals... I was born and raised in the country, my dad hunted, and farmed, and also taught me conservation of our land and animals.
Fantastic video! Five stars! I also do humane control. It is the only effective long term solution. Anyone with nuisance wildlife issues should hire this guy
