  • At :02 in the beginning of the video. Did he just "Double Clutch"? I have only ever seen that on the 18 wheel trucks. Were manual transmissions in that car hard to shift?

  • dear santa...

  • gayest looking cars ever made

  • what an idiot

  • that is a hideous EP3

  • @Sandeep9201 It's not an EP3, it's an EU8.

  • is there anything on the civic eg6?

  • I'm from Swindon and my dad builds Civics and they are great little cars. Also Jason Barlow is a twat, his accent annoys me.

  • Comment removed

  • good riddance! i hate his accent!

  • He writes for the TG mag now.Still rubbish.

  • Oh god, Top gear would be a flop if he was hosting nowadays

  • God now I know why Top Gear was axed.

  • I own EK sedan, i like the 90s looks better. but yeah.... Honda fo life!

  • Clearly northern Irish. Who has spent 5 years in London.

  • haha what the hell lol

  • what's with his accent??????????????

  • what the hell kind of accent does he have

  • welsh?

  • irish?

  • honda 4ever,,

  • I own a 2003 two door Civic Sport and i LOVE it!

  • type r :P

  • i am glad he isnt on topgear nowadays

  • @TucoZizou hes working in fifth gear gaming now LOL

  • A very good car, but from this generation, only the Type R had a real personality...

  • @mercedesE320fan

Never forget that Honda was the only car company that really cared for Rover.

The Rovers build during the Honda years, are by far the best in everyway. You don't cars like the SD1 on the road today becaus they didn't last.

And you don't see BMWs 75 because nobody wants it.

But wich Rovers you do see on the roads?

The Honda Civic based Rovers 200 and 400...

  • Ok what you say is true to many,

However i think the Rover SD1 is an amazingly great design and car.

The Rover,Bmw and MG, 75,3-series and ZT is a decent car, espaically the RWD V8.

And i like the 800 alot too, but the SD1 in my mind was one of the recent greats.

  • You are so right, honda saved rover from the scrapheap back in 1982 when they brought out the triumph acclaim which was a civic based ballade, the acclaim had the honda engine, then the rover 213, followed by the 416 the i ownded all these honda engined rovers and had no problems with any of them! 147,000 on the 1992 416si i had, still on its original clutch! needless to say now own a 04 civic 1.6 vetec and like the other civics and rovers i had, not a one has given me trouble! top cars!

  • @FrightfulAccountant Erm... could i say? In the 1990s and late 80s Rover bought their chasssis from Honda as the model of Honda Civic and finding spare parts are easy but Honda is always the way to go as thier lasting powerful and user friendly rather than TVr says its user friendly but u cant even start it!!!

  • @FrightfulAccountant wrong my dad got an sd1 and there are still many left..

  • @Mazdalover902 Many wrecks you mean...

Don't misunderstand me, in many ways the SD1 was the very best British Executive car ever build.

But in one point it was hopeless: reliability.

Here on the continent, you can search for days until you find one that will still run.

Buying an SD1 coms with lost and lots of resoration work...

    A timeless car? Yes.

but it could had been so much more if they only would had been build a bit better...

  • @FrightfulAccountant i guess but our is in mint condition :)

  • Honda should put the del sol back in production.

  • @Cdogpyjamas I believe they did and called it the CR-Z (to replace the older CR-X).

  • @Cdogpyjamas Prelude too buddy.

  • I like the older style civic.

  • I've got the two door and it's awesome, but the steering is VERY light.

  • Yours must be automatic. I found the steering in the manual to be considerably more weighted than the automatic - which is really nice.

  • It's not. Mine is a manual.

  • Damn near an EP3. Aside from 4drs it damn near matches it in ways.

  • @Mahaney82 I wished the EU1, 2, 3 & 4 came with the K20A engine

  • Jason Barlow, I think he's a prick but I'm glad you like the video. In the fullness of time I'll upload some more reviews by him, to note one a MK2 Vauxhall Corsa Review 1.8 SRi and more

  • @ysivyboi1 Couldn't agree more he's such a prick and a crap presenter, how he ever got the job I don't know

  • Who is he? I like him.
