Just to let you know, this is a proto 1000 prs rdc car. it sells for about $130, but i have seen more or less expensive. I would not consider it rare, but it is pretty cool!
Very very nice. For the record the real M-402 is the only ex-PRSL RDC that is not on the Cape May Seashore Lines. It is on the Batten Kill RR in NY State where it operates as a cab car.
The PRSL was absorbed into Conrail back in April 1976. The road was owned by both the PRR (Later the PC) and the Reading. The PRR & later PC owned 2/3& the Reading a 1/3. The 12 Budd RDC's were aquired by the road in 1951. Two were destroyed in a shop fire in Camden, NJ in 1958.
The Cape May Seashore Lines now operates a portion of the line between Richland & Tuckahoe & has rights down to Cape May. They do have many of the former PRSL Budd RDC's operating on their former tracks again.

I believe you mean M-403. M-402 is still on the CMSL.

@PRSLRider Yep you're right. I just checked the PRSL RDC roster and M-402 is indeed owned by CMSL. My mistake.
