@burnstagger The Apollo LEM's did kick up alot of dust on landing. the ascent engines was just above descent stage, which served as a launch platform. They didn't have any time to collect any dust.

Bruce Williis would work as the new Commander of Moonbase Alpha in a Remake of Space:1999.

Patrick Stewart would be perfect in Barry Morse's role of Nobel Peace Prize Winning Physicist Dr. Victor Bergmann.

Orlando Bloom woul work as Chief Pilot Captain Alan Carte formerly of the Austrailian Air Force. If any remembers Alan Carter was the one Astronaut that could haev made it back to earth. Instead he loyally returne to the Moonbase and joined his Colleauges, Peers and Subordinates on Alpha.

Great to see some of this. My Dad was on the speciall effects team making this, I went as a kid to watch, so seeing some of these clips of Eagles was great. I'd love to have the first episode to show my kids. I'll keep looking.
