I hear you man. Though, I'm not a huge fan of dimmu, there is nothing wrong with you listening to them. I too listen to some rock (Anathema, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd are some of my favorite bands). There are all kinds of music that all have their great points. Not everyone will like the same music, but that's what makes the music so special to each person
