Ive got access to a shared drive on this PC on my LAN. I do net use Z: \\name\C $

Then it map the drive or whatever, but I cant dig any deeper than the first level of directorys and cant change any files, any idea on how to change it so I can?

Deep freeze is easy to get around use a liveCd like BartPE or BT to delete it. I'll make a video on it sooner or later.

Exploitation with backtrack isnt difficult it has built in exploits (much like metasploit) but keep in mind the only systems you can exploit are ones with outdated software running on them. If you wanna learn how to do it right, research reverse engineering, and if you dont mind paying for it "Smashing the stack for fun and profit" is a great read for the subject.

Did you do this from a desktop to a Local Area Connection Via like Wifi or what. Lol i wouldnt touch backtrack to my desktop with a 10 foot pole... unless i was using like a gazillion high anonymous proxy servers....shit man Telnet/netcat = 5 to 10 for black hat/darkside hacking....

I did do this on my lan into one of my other computers (because its not illegal and i have a hacking record), but it the same steps on any windows computer you hack into. Backtrack pretty safe for hacking because it doesnt auto-config your network settings on startup, so you can change your mac and use proxies and so on.
