Yeah I'm a visual communications major.

For your next vid:

-don't always sing straight to the camera. Use your profile like many male artists do in their videos.

-also, to do slow motion shots with your mouth still matching the words, you have to speed up the song while your shooting the footage. It will sound weird doing it, but in the end when you edit it will match the original tempo while showing in slow motion.

Try that and perhaps better lighting and your good to go. Good luck!

I recorded the song, mixed it, recorded and edited the video ALL the same day Rihannas song came out. I don't have a fancy camera... Just a photo camera that records video :( but I'm getting a HD cam soon and will DEFINITELY try your suggestions! That slow motion suggestion sounds hot!
