@GITAHxgCoo Shmups aren't the only good games out there (I personally love FPS games), but the quality of well-made STGs like DoDonPachi DaiOuJou is just so much better than a lot of the crap I see being produced here in the West.

I don't want shmups to die, because they are one of the last gaming venues of real, legitimate challenge. In fact, I worry that games like DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu and Touhou 13 are signaling the decline of great shoot-em-ups like DaiOuJou.

@KlLLAH573 Agreed...Daifukkatsu Black Label just wasn't up to par. Sure, it looked damn amazing with the secret True Last Boss, but the rest was just, after all, a remake. That's why I prefer toe older shmups like this, Ketsui (even the Nintendo DS Port) and even the original DoDonPachi better than newer ones.

-In this mode you have no resources. None. One mistake will spell game over.

-Oblivion is actually quite simple, judging by the many videos I saw of people completing it within 3 weeks of release. On the contrary, it took 7 years of failed attempts by many skilled players to beat this.

-Patterns can't be bombed through. All bosses heal when you bomb.
