saw this mentioned elsewhere, the yellow dots reminded me also of what Olivia said about the yellow sweets reminding her of medicine (the Inner Child episode).

and , maybe just cause there's a same actor in both, they reminded me of Marlo and 'the Greeks' clock-cypher, in The Wire. because of the positional degree-like changes.
