Try fixing your buffers on your or it could be a latency problem. Thats usually the case with midi controllers these days.

on the control surface page under midi input i saw u clicked usb axiom 25 in but mine only says axiom 25 directlink in, axiom 25 midi in, and axiom 25 ext midi in. once i use reote overide and set my beat pads to a key on redrum it doesnt record.. everything else records from the keyboard except redrum.. help?

I just hooked mine up, clicked add, selected axiom 25 preset in reason, clicked ok and my transport button worked fine (record play stop....) Just wish I knew how to work all the pad banks on the keyboard. I just got one a friend gave me. I took it just for the pads and because the weighted keys are dope.

this machine is much more powerfull then most people use it

There are far more easier ways to do that. Preferences -> midi controller other -> keyboard with controls

Then recall program P07 and the transposer buttons wil work the loop button mixer everything withouth assigning them. There are programs for the rex malstorm and so on just load the program and everything assignes auto ! check the enigma software

actually you don't. eg you can save it and make it your default song. but why should you when preset 10 of the axiom works well with redrum, so just recall preset 10, select group a, b and c and there you go, no time-consuming fiddling round with assigning knobs and stuff like that.

Thanx for this video. However, I'm using Axiom 49 and if i assign Redrum channel 1-8 through remode override edit mode, if i select a different machine ( eg. NN-19), not only will my drum pads generate the Redrum sound, but also the corresponding normal piano keys. I would like to just have the Redrum connected to the drum pads, and not the normal keys, how to fix it?

Nice tutorial. I used to do exactly this, until I found the M-Audio_Remote_Files download. This is intended for Reason 3 but works with 4.0. Install the downlad and Reason will now recognise your Axiom 25. It will even have the cool little picture! Google m-audio remote files to find the download.

@johnsamifua I think it could be because I was using reason 4 at the time and the new version is out now plus axiom upgraded their midi controller as well. I'll get another set up soon man.
