I just don't get why for so many people graphics and textures are the decisive factor in choosing the better game. Really, Killzone 2 had much better textures and graphics than R2, but I just didn't enjoy it. It was dark, bland and dull. On the other hand, I had a blast with R2, it was just very fun to play. And I don't get people who bash Resistance for graphics.
Resistance 2 was garbage. So unpolished. It was just a bunch of random crap thrown together. I'm glad Insomniac is taking 2 years for R3. Maybe this one will be able to compete with Killzone.

Anyway, I think Resistance 3 will be better, because Insomniac Games have learned from their mistakes and gone more towards Resistance: Fall of Man, which most people liked more. Of course, they are keeping the good things R2 had.
Resistance is much better than Killzone. Killzone 2 was criminally short as well . Both Resistance games offered much longer campaigns. Killzone is overrated because of the graphics. The weapons in Resistance is much better than those in Killzone as well.

To be honest, I don't care about resistance at all. Played the first one, didn't like it. Didn't give the second one a chance because everyone said it was worse than resistance 1, so I didn't have any motivation to play it. Killzone in the other hand is incredible. I love it to death. Killzone 2 was almost flawless, truly a great game and I'm really looking forward to killzone 3. Won't be buying resistance 3 though.
Acutally, I like R1 better because of the gameplay style and the setup were just amazing. R2 was great as it improved a lot, but the atmosphere has been a little more cartoony than R1 and they removed the weapon wheel and health packs.
Killzone 2 will be much better at least mp wise compared to killzone 3...I played the beta for Kz3 and it sucks ass. They made it more and more like Call of Duty which is Bullshit. They got rid of 32 players to 24, got rid of player made servers which was awesome, made aiming much easier, huge weapon imbalance, brutal melee is like call of duty melee you teleport to your enemy, and the infiltrator class is just bullshit and should be taken out. Go to Killzone forums real fans hate this game

@SuckDemBalls Yes i have played it..to be honest...i played 20 mins of it at a friends who had PS PLus..and its good...But here is the thing they still have that public beta that will be coming out Thursday..then after that feed back they will know how to fix it for the Release...Remember..Betas are just there for a trail and error..So they will take the feed back and fix it for the final version
@xAnonyx Yea I thought it was amazing the first few days then I got annoyed...exactly like MW2 and BO. The "beta" tomorrow is more like a demo, because the game comes out in less than 3 weeks. It's to give the game more exposure and to also test the servers like Medal of Honor had a closed beta in summer then an open beta on PC a week before release to show what they did and also to test the servers. I really do hope they actually fixed that stuff but I'll be buying the game anyway

@SuckDemBalls I'm on the Forums all the time, and the fans are pumped for the game. They fixed the overpowered LMG's (Which was the only overpowered weapon), they fixed the Melee teleport, and the aiming down sight needed to be upgraded and improved so they did. They also changed the Infiltrator class (Which can be seen in the Jungle Multiplayer Map Trailer) All of these things have been listed and discussed on the official Forums. I do agree that the Player Made servers need to come back.

I noticed no difference from the beta to that trailer but I guess I'll find out the hard way tomorrow. @SuckDemBalls Yep, they fixed the problem where you would aim your cross hair over the opponent and their name would sometimes stay green, instead of turning red to let you know they were the enemy. They reduced the Tactician and that Wall Hack spotting, they decreased his range to see people through walls to something like 30 or 20 meters.They took out the Player Made servers because people would use them to Boost, so we asked them to do Unranked Player servers but I don't think they listened

@SuckDemBalls They changed some of that stuff... Well see how much they have changed the recoil.. Killzone's brutal melee is nothing like CODs melee.. from what ive heard they brought it fown to 24 to reduce lagging.. player made servers i heard are coming back..

@mamobster1500 Dude...people would just run straight towards me, not even shooting once and spamming the R3 button and then kill me. I played the beta A LOT. I really hope they changed it. I'd rather have a little lag then so much less players. The beta didnt have player made servers but I hope you're right

@SuckDemBalls Yes it is easy to pull of melee kills.. hopefully it has changed.. they did the right thing by making the controls lighter.. but still.. it needs to stay difficult in terms of recoil, and they need to fix some balancing issues. pshh. that WASP guns IS SUPER OVERPOWERED

@SuckDemBalls Real fans hate this game?...Not really....I'm a real Killzone fan and its not good to just keep finding things to bitch about...and why does everyone want to just be like "Ok new Multiplayer so the first game we will compare it to is Call Of Duty"....If you hate the game then so be it..have fun hating the game..but its obvious that both new people and real fans of killzone will love it...so you can't assume the game is terrible and say its fact just because you dont like it

@xAnonyx Go on the forums on killzone website if you dont believe me. Obviously not everyone genius but most. I hate it when games become more and more like Call of Duty. Why? Because I don't want to play fucking call of duty and that's why I'm trying to play this game. Did you play the beta? Be honest. Did you?
I'm saying this because I was sooo shocked about how good Killzone 2 was and I haven't played a better multiplayer since Cod4. I want it to stay true to it's prequel not turn into Cod

@SuckDemBalls Yes i have played it..to be honest...i played 20 mins of it at a friends who had PS PLus..and its good...But here is the thing they still have that public beta that will be coming out Thursday..then after that feed back they will know how to fix it for the Release...Remember..Betas are just there for a trail and error..So they will take the feed back and fix it for the final version

@xAnonyx Yea I thought it was amazing the first few days then I got annoyed...exactly like MW2 and BO. The "beta" tomorrow is more like a demo, because the game comes out in less than 3 weeks. It's to give the game more exposure and to also test the servers like Medal of Honor had a closed beta in summer then an open beta on PC a week before release to show what they did and also to test the servers. I really do hope they actually fixed that stuff but I'll be buying the game anyway

@SuckDemBalls Yea lol..I'm buying the game anyway also..for the story...multiplayer wise looks addicting..and i hope they kept those ribboon things of the week..that made the game really competitive for who can be 10 or 5 or 3 or 1 percentile of the week haha...But yea remember ..GG is nothing like Infinity Ward or Treyarch..they actually listen to there fans and fix things..like some people didnt like the lag kill..Now there is no lag kill..

@SuckDemBalls I'm on the Forums all the time, and the fans are pumped for the game. They fixed the overpowered LMG's (Which was the only overpowered weapon), they fixed the Melee teleport, and the aiming down sight needed to be upgraded and improved so they did. They also changed the Infiltrator class (Which can be seen in the Jungle Multiplayer Map Trailer) All of these things have been listed and discussed on the official Forums. I do agree that the Player Made servers need to come back.

@terriblete67 wait wait wait hold on thats cool what you said but what did you say about infiltrator class? They changed it? How? I noticed no difference from the beta to that trailer but I guess I'll find out the hard way tomorrow. I'm going to get the game of course, especially since I got PS Move, but I just want the game to be more like Kz2 than MW2 or BO. If they really did fix those things then I'm happy for the game

@SuckDemBalls Yep, they fixed the problem where you would aim your cross hair over the opponent and their name would sometimes stay green, instead of turning red to let you know they were the enemy. They reduced the Tactician and that Wall Hack spotting, they decreased his range to see people through walls to something like 30 or 20 meters.They took out the Player Made servers because people would use them to Boost, so we asked them to do Unranked Player servers but I don't think they listened

i prefer killzone 3!!! just for the simple reason they keep going where they left off on killzone 2. resistance 3 feels like a whole newer game just because of the new main character
