@Jntaj02002 I agree. I visited Gary for the first time in June. Explored the abandoned City Methodist Church, Mercy Hospital, the Ambassador Apartments, and more. And never once feared for my life. As you said, Gary is certainly NOT as dangerous as all the rumors make it out to be. The locals are nice people, too. :-)

Do you know what's spooky? I've watched tons of Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 videos on YouTube. Both way before MJ passed away (RIP) and since. I've been a fan since I was 5 years old in 1968. What's eeiry or spooky to me is that MANY of the vids posted on here were post very close to or on the date of his death June 25th. Like this one..posted June 27th a year before he died. yea their cousin Timothy Brown still lives there. I think he moved into the house as soon as the Jacksons left. I've ran into him a few times. He's driven past my house and I went to his church a few times, but other than that he's very low-key.

He's a very cool and down to earth man though.

If he sees you, and you acknowledge him, he'll rub a friendly elbow with you and chat for a minute or two, but other than that he's very reserved from what I know of him. He seems to only speak when spoken to. He'll most definitely open up to tourists......We have about 200 out of towners come to Gary yearly just to see the house. And he opened up to the reporters the day Mike came home back in 03 and on the day of his acquittal in 05. But I've never been inside the house.
