  • Hey I was wondering can the PBT connect to a x41? Because it has that headphone jack.

  • @DJsfantasyworld1 Yes, the PBT works on an X41 so you can get wireless chat on PS3.

  • I record game plays and when I record I can hear everyone else but my audio is bad in the recording. I use the default headset you get with an Xbox I was wnderng if any of these would make my voice clearer

  • @Automatic476 Please contact customer support.

  • Is there a X21? Also do you guys have plans on making any new headsets?

You should also try controllers like razer does. Put the turtle beach logo on it with a white trim, that would look really nice.

  • i have a question. does XL1 work with PC cause i mostly play xbox 360 but sometimes i play on my mac.

  • @00xyankeesx00 No it doesn't. Get the X12 if you want PC and XBOX compatibility.

  • i just bought a turtle beach earforce x31 headset and now i sort of miss my dad complaining about my game being too loud :)

  • @NickDufe If you want to continue to annoy him, you can wear the headset and hear the game and also turn up the TV speakers so the sound will blast in the room at the same time. (LOL)

  • @TurtleBeachVideos Ahahahaha I LOVE YOU GUYS :)

  • anybody else like his hair?

  • @rayados6 We do, very much.

  • Ohh ok. I thought you would have to take it a part or something. Thanks for the help.

  • Srry my computer is down so i cant reply normally but to flip the ear cups, what do you mean?

  • @skateboarddude564 Put the left ear cup on your right ear and vice versa.

  • Hey i love playing with the mic on the right side of my face. Is it possible to change it in the X11 or do i just have to get used to it in the left?

  • @skateboarddude564 YOu can flip the mic to the back of the headset, swap the ear cups then swap the red and white RCA jacks to make sure left is still left and right is still right.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos So the XLC will work with theAdapter Jacks that came with the Px21?

  • Even though the PX21 is for PS3 but works with Xbox is it worth it to buy those or get a xbox only head set?

  • @Bmw0524 Ifyou only have an XBOX you can get the X11 which sounds great.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos i got the PX21 and it sometimes lets me use chat, but i can't get it to work all the time i tried changing preferences

  • @Bmw0524 PS3 or XBOX?

  • How come the mic isn't removable for all headset?

  • @DreadRaptor85 Engineering considerations, design considerations and people's willingness to pay for features determine the feature-set we put on individual headsets.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos I love your headers but why do they cost so much? The X41's are more than my xbox. Is there going to be a price reduction soon maybe about $75 less!

  • OMG what????!??!?!? px21 works for xbox aswell??? ahh i should of got it cuz i saw px21 and x11 for the same price aww mahhn i'd such a soundwhore if i got px21

  • lmao nice green screen.

  • i just need a better version of the xbox 360 stock headset. On your site, the buy button on XC1 doesn't appear !

  • @xboxfanaticgabriel Sorry, the XC1 isn't shipping yet. It will be available in April. Please check back then.

  • im plannin on buying the x31s cause i am not going to pay 200 dollars for a headset. thats how much i payed for my xbox!

  • @roysmellmyfart X31 is a great headset.

  • Im a big player in 360 but i need a headset so i could hear footsteps or reloading in your proffesional opinion which one should buy

  • @XxVIOLENTxVIRUSxX Get the X11 for XBOX.

  • Im asking your professional opinion of which you think is the best performing the x31 or the PX21 i have a PS3 Xbox and also PC game not as often though thank-you sincerely echo1airsoft2044

  • @echo1airsoft2044

If you have a PS3, XBOX and PC, you should definitely get the PX21 because it works on all three.

  • i just bought some xlcs and there freaking outreagous

  • i need help . Does the x11 allow me to chat online with just the set alone or do i need an external plug that connects to the hole in the xbox controller

  • @bearboy123 You connect the X11 to the controller using a talkback cable.

  • @bearboy123 they all do duh

  • Wait, will the 1 ear communicator have some of the same functions as every other turtle beach mic's. Or is it just a better version of the normal Xbox headset.

  • @craftyduck22 It performs the same tasks as Microsoft's Communicator. However, it offers you the ability to have outside sounds reach your ear, it's much more comfortable, sounds better and uses a better mic.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos hey is there any difference between the x31 and the x11 beside wired and wirelss.

    reply asap thanks.

  • Thank you I can't wait to get it

  • The only way I could get a wireless mic is if a save up money for a while and by the time I'll get enough money for one I'll lose interest in it or a new turtle beach mic will come out.(Hopefully)

  • I don't want to put out so much money out for a mic. I would get a good and cheap one but it is wired. I wouldn't like a wired one because there's a lot of traffic walking between my couch and TV. Can you please make the mic's cheaper or make a wireless cheap mic. Thanks For all your support, I know you'll respond to this because all the other questions you answered in the comments.

  • @craftyduck22 We have a new product launching this spring that is a communicator-only style headset. It's a single-ear design that plays nothing but chat. It connects only to the XBox 360 controller. So, if you're looking for something that just handles chat without a wire that connects to the television, there you have it! It will be released Spring 2011.

And, always keep a watch on our site, because we're always working to develop new and improved products that fit our fans' needs.

  • I just realized how much time and effort they put into the videos and answering the comments

  • @craftyduck22 We try to make sure everyone gets what they need. :)

  • Is the plug in for the X41 pretty much the same as the Ethernet cable?

  • @RB2man Which plug? The plug that connects it to your system? No. It's an S/PDIF Toslink cable.

  • Hello can somebody help me.

My headset echo's everbody in the game hear what i Hear.

if you know what i mean

  • @parafracture Contact support via email for help troubleshooting.

  • besides the wireless is there a difference between the X11's X31's and X41's?

  • @ganon50000 Yes, there are lots of differences. The X31 has bass boost and a stereo expander. The X41, on the other hand, has Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound and 50mm speakers. That's the quick and dirty version of their differences. You should check out the product comparison charts on our site for a full rundown of the features of each.

  • the xlc has a hovering mic 01:15

  • Comment removed

  • I purchased the X31s 2 days ago and i am extreamly happy with them. But i only have like 5 hours total playng time on them and the batteries that came with it already died.

  • @QrazyQracker13

The batteries included in the package might not be fully charged. Replace them with new alkaline batteries and you should get nearly 20 hours of play time.

  • So if i'm right, the xlc is very cheap, the x41 is expencive becouse you can hear anyone from any side in a game and its 7.1 dolby the others you can only here the difference between left from right and not the front or the back and they are 5.1 as i read somewhere i think the x 41 is too expencive and i want a wired so the battery doent need to recharge (becouse ther isnt any) wich one is the best or are there other brands that i can try?

    Can somebody help me?

  • @babelfan112 Check out our DX11, the X11 headset paired with the 7.1 surround sound processor, for $129 at Best Buy.

  • Does the X41 work with a HDMI cable?

  • @TheHuntdaw Yes.

  • i'm getting the x41 next week :P

  • what would u reccomned most?

  • @xk1llaseasonx X41 has every features, 7.1, and wireless.

  • What would you reccomend between the X11's and the PX21's i have an xbox 360 and need a cheap headset until i buy astro's for tournament play (Sorry but i dont like the HPX)... btw its not mlg so i can use any headset that covers both ears.

  • @GNRule123

The X11 and PX21 have very similar sound quality, so you can go with either. The PX21 costs more because it has more features and is also PS3 compatible.

BTW, the HPX has much better sound quality and durability. Either way, the X11 and PX21 are both perfect for tourney play.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos Ok... youve swung me to the HPX. Thanks : )

  • i have the x41's and they own. They are so much better than my friends x31's, because you can really hear the surround sound on the x41's. Also, the bass boost is much better. the x11's aren't very special, you can't hear stuff like ninja that well. But let me be assuring, You can hear ninja pro on both black ops and MW2. Thats right, it says black ops ninja pro is completely silent, but I can still hear them when its quiet

  • @TheaMAZEingGuy

Well, the X41 is made to be better. Plus, Dolby 5.1/7.1 surround sound will own stereo any day. The bass boost is actually the same, but since the X41 has larger speakers, it can handle more bass--which is why it sounds better. The X31 is actually a really good headset for the price. Your friend can always add the DSS to his X31 and he'll have a very similar headset to your X41. ;)

  • i have the x11 wired headset. I love the surround sound and the price of $59.99.Its worth it.

  • on the X31 and the X41 is the mic boom or whatever its called can it rotate and do a full circle?

  • @QrazyQracker13

No, they can rotate about 270-degrees. (3/4 of the way around a circle)

  • @TurtleBeachVideos Thank you.

  • @Hyperra Nice choice.

  • the biggest difference between the x31 anc 41 isnt the sound its the cost...

  • @shadow1234123411

I guess you missed the fact that the X41 had Dolby 7.1 surround sound, whereas the X31 has stereo sound. That's a pretty big difference in sound, which also accounts for the higher price on the X41.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos i dont care about that stuff

  • @TurtleBeachVideos Does this mean the X31 sucks compared to the X41? I can't afford the X41.

  • @QrazyQracker13

No, not at all. The X31 basically has the same sound quality as the X41--it just has a different type of sound. (Stereo vs Dolby surround).

If you're on a tight budget, you can always get the X31 and then add a DSS surround sound processor later on. The DSS will provide the X31 with the same Dolby 5.1/7.1 surround sound as in the X41. In other words, you don't have to spend all the money at once--you can still get the Dolby afterwards using the same headset.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos lol Thank you again.

  • @chrisnorton50

To answer your question directly, the X11 and PX21 have the same sound quality--and obviously both have separate game/chat volume controls. (Much different than the XLC). The PX21 has more features than the X11, but the X11 costs a bit less. If it's an Xmas present though, you might as well as for the PX21, right? ;)

  • @chrisnorton50

Well, first off, have you balanced the game audio and chat as described in the User's Guide that came with your headset?

To do this, you have to go into the game settings menu and lower the game's sounds, music, effects, etc--and then raise the overall volume level on your TV to compensate. This will make the chat volume higher than the game sounds.

  • The wire in my XLC headset is frayed, and I can't speak though the microphone. Does turtle beach have any customer service, or, preferably, tips on how to repair a frayed wire yourself? Thanks.

  • @shadowrunner7295 Yes, you can contact our support via email.

  • how much do they cost?????

  • @Snakes2down

Check out our website for pricing and availability

  • What is a "mic monitor"?

  • @beep41

Its a feature that mixes a portion of your voice into the headphones so that you can hear how loud (or soft) you're speaking. This is really helpful when you're trying to communicate with teammates because it prevents you from shouting in their ears.

  • Hi im Mat from Turtle Beach !!!!

  • @maxhockey95

Oh no you aren't! Matt's sitting right down the hall from me!

  • Pardon, but ive never had a headset, and i would like to know if the wire is connected to the xbox 360 controller OR to the console

  • @DcIxvi

It depends on what headset you're looking at.

Our wired headsets will connect to the console with a cable. Our wireless headsets will not have any cable between where you're sitting and the console.

All headsets must connect with a short, thin cable to the XBOX controller when chat is needed.

  • @SuperKopite96

You can check out our UK vendors on our website under the "Where to buy" section.

  • Should i get the x11 or x31?

  • @LMxiNFeCtIoNz

These headsets are very similar, so this decision would come down to what's better for your gaming setup. If you sit relatively far away from your TV, then the wireless X31 would probably be the better option. If not, then you might want to save a couple bucks and get the X11. In fact, if you opt for the X11, then you can put that extra cash towards a DSS surround sound processor!

  • I have x31 supper good, Its true I can hear people reloading, ect...

  • My tv doesnt have the ports where you plug in the video and audio (the red white and yellow cables for the xbox.) i just have the scart adapter. can i still plug the headphone jack into my scart adapter?

    Please reply :)

  • @linkinpark1519

The XLC is best when connected to a headphone jack on a TV. (Also called a "mini-jack"). If your TV does not have this, then the X11 would be the better choice.

If you have the XLC already, then it will connect to the XBOX red/white audio plugs on the SCART cable.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos Cheers man. im gonna buy these in three days :)

  • @linkinpark1519

The SCART adapter should have red/white RCA jacks on it.

  • does xlc have chat problems

  • @nikobellicgtaiv

Chat problems? No, of course not.

The biggest problem with the XLC is that people don't read the manual! Check out some of the past comments in this video and see how I responded. You'll see that most people have the same exact question!

  • The x41's should also come in a wired version.

  • @R33R3D3MPT10N

The combination of a PX21 and DSS is essentially a wired version of the X41.

  • @SlicedBeatz

No, we do not ship directly to the Netherlands. Please click on "where to buy" in the top menu of our web site for a list of EU retailers.

  • Shouldnt you guys make a cheaper headset for theps3?

  • @ELECTRIODLEADER485

The PX21 is $79.95 and you can get it for even less from on line retailers. Click on "where to buy" in the top menu of our web site for a list of retailers and check their prices.

  • cant other headphones like the z2 or hpx be used on the xbox 360?

  • @jackjackajckaajcka

Technically, yes. The setups are a little different, but they'd work--especially with our DSS surround sound processor which will power them correctly.

Message me if you'd like more info on this.

  • what happened to the x1

  • @simon1111777

The X1 was replaced by the X11. Gotta keep upgrading to stay on top of our game!

  • The ShamWow guy would be so much better for this..

  • can u connect these with pc

  • @iHaZardZx

Yes, the audio will connect fine. If you need the mic to work, you will need a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm female/male adapter

  • could you use these for pc

  • @BR1ANx888

Yes, the audio will connect fine. If you need the mic to work, you will need a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm female/male adapter

  • i heard wirless turtle beaches disconect the wireless online"Xbox Live"?

  • @OpKxBlackCat

    Sorry, that is not true.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos hay thx so much for this brillant headstets i went and brought allof them i and i love them

  • so you can plug the x11s in your usb port and hear chat?

  • @twinzfan27

No, the USB port is for power only. The X11 gets the chat audio from the XBOX controller.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos so the talkback cable is for chat right?

  • @twinzfan27

    Yes.

  • The XLC's are rough on your ears and it's hard to hear people talk... Adjusting the in game volume isn't much help...

  • @ModdedTalent

The chat adjustment configuration is described in the User's Guide that came with the headset.

To balance the chat vs game audio, you have to go into the game settings menu and lower the game's sounds, music, effects, etc--and then raise the overall volume level on your TV to compensate. This will make the chat volume higher than the game sounds.

  • do any retailers supply turtle beaches in ireland?

  • @HulkHogansRightKnee

You can go to our website and click on the "Where to buy" link up top to see a list of our online and retail vendors.

  • im gonna get the xlc....its cheap but doesnt have all the amazing features...but that i really dont nead the sound to the best. so i say get the xlc

  • xlc's are crap. all you can hear is the game, and i f you want to hear friends talking, you have to turn the game volume down so low, you cant hear the "softest sounds" promised by turtle beach. Also, they are extremely un-comfortable after about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hour of gaming. dont buy these, save your money for they x11.

  • @TheZoowemama

I assume you did not read the part of the User's Guide that came with the headset which describes how to properly balance chat vs game sounds.

To do this, you have to go into the game settings menu and lower the game's sounds, music, effects, etc--and then raise the overall volume level on your TV to compensate. This will make the chat volume higher than the game sounds.

Also note that was always recommend the XLC be used on a TV with a headphone output jack for the best sound.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos ya no duh. i did that and i still have to turn the game volume down super low. and unless you want to buy me a tv with a headphone jack, i suggest you make a different pair of headphones.

  • @TheZoowemama

Next time you might want to research this beforehand so you know what type of setup is required for maximum performance.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos or you guys could make an affordable headset that has one of the most important features which is not to compromise voice for game volume. its not that hard

  • @TurtleBeachVideos maybe you should make a cheaper, but quality headset for people who dont have 60.00 70.00 bucks to throw out, with the ability to hear your teammates and the game at the same time.

  • @TheZoowemama

If you need amplified game audio (which is required to make the audio game sound "loud"), then the headset will require amplification. Integrating an amplifier into the headset will obviously cause the price to increase. If the XLC is $30, then it's logical to conclude that an amplifier will add about $20-$30 on top of that--in which case you'd have an X11.

If you're on a tight budget, we still have factory recertified X1's available on our website. These are self powered too.

  • ah ok just wondering the x41 is still an amaizing headset

  • why doesnt the x41 have twist style earphones like the px21 or z2?

  • @xVantageMoDDz

That was just the way it was made. We just make some headsets different than others.

  • How much does the px21 cost in store

  • @anthonyam97

Click on "where to buy" in the top menu of our web site for a list of retailers. Check the prices on their web site.

  • thanks for the help i now plan on getting one thanks the quick response

  • does the x11 have a chat boost bass boost and Dolbly surround sound

  • @videoviewer413

The X11 does not have chat boost and Dolby surround sound. You can add the DSS to and X11 to get Dolby Surround Sound. Check out the DSS video for details.

  • Would the X31s just be X11's but wireless

  • @OpTic3liJK

The X31 also has a few extra features--such as the ability to turn off the bass boost (it's always on in the X11). The X31 also has a stereo expander feature and our unique Chat Boost mic feature as well. You can check out our website for more info.

  • 1:77

    Green screen fail!

  • @alibrovidz there is no 1:77 dumbass

  • You guys planning on making a wireless adapter from the controller to the X31 or would I have to pay my friend to mod mine like his T.T

  • how would turtle beaches work if you are using a capture card? because capture cards have to hook into your sound??

  • @MaGiiKShotzZ

The RCA piggyback jacks included with your Turtle Beach headset let you connect the XBOX, headset and capture card stereo sound all at the same time. It's just like connecting it to your TV audio inputs.

  • the DSS is $90...? that sucks..

  • @shortballerz

Check out the price on Provantage(dot)com

  • @TurtleBeachVideos I bought the X41's already. :P

  • i think the x11 are the best but there all really nice

  • Whats does Bass Boost do?

  • @MW2WinBlog

It boosts the level of low frequency sounds, like a sub woofer in your home theater, to make explosions and gun shots sound more realistic.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos currently have a cheap ( 20 bucks )phillips headshones, (shp2000} i i buy the x31 headpfones will i have the same ''awareness of my suroundings'' ?

  • @machielste1

I would be pretty confident to say that the sound quality of the X31 would be better than a generic $20 pair of passive headphones. You will not only have superior awareness of sound cues, but the X31 will also benefit your communication with teammates and other players as well. You should definitely check it out!

  • Will there be rechargeable batteries for the Turtle Beach Headsets instead of Double A batteries?

  • @MrOwnage22522

You can buy any recharger with NiMH AAA batteries and it will work fine.

  • So i'm very interested in getting some turtle beaches, but if i want surround sound, do i need to go with the X41's?

  • @deathadder69

No, not at all. You can use any of our headsets with the new DSS surround sound processor that we just released. Even the $29 XLC will give you Dolby surround sound when used with the DSS! Check out the new video--and there's even more info on our website about it.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos hey, whats DSS ?

  • @ijason279

    DSS = Dolby Surround Sound

It's our new surround sound processor. Check out the DSS video or info on our website.

  • @TurtleBeachVideos ohh thanks, + yea I did its a good invention made from you guys, Do you know if orders can be made from the UK on the website?

  • @ijason279

We only ship to the USA. However, we've got numerous retailers in the UK that you can purchase from. Try LimeXB360(dot)com(dot)uk

  • @ijason279 they dont sell them :(

  • Turtle beach are the best! I have the X11's and X41's.

Words can't express how good the X41's are, the incredible.

Thank you turtle beach for making such excellent headset's.

  • @bradz0111 Great to hear Brad. If you have friend over, plug the X11s into the front of the X41 transmitter, and the X11 will have 7.1 surround sound!

  • I will get this when I get the slim PS3 man I can't wait for the PS3 slim!!!

  • Ok, Will do!

  • I am a PC gamer. I think I'm going to buy the X11. But how much does it cost?
