  • Your idea is great and I applaud the effort and originality in design. But your speed record claim is outragous and only leads others to think you have this world record, which you do not, and have not reached these speeds. All your speed claims are pure speculation and serves to confuse the pubilc. Please show us data taken from a GPS device to prove otherwise.

  • I shoot it myself. I was moving on skates. By the way, my building and sailing instructions, for these wing sails, are a steal!

  • whered you steal this vid from?

  • its not 120 km/h -.-

  • No it is some 30 km/h. The wind is very light some 5 knots, 2-3 m/s. With a wind of 20 knots, 10 m/s, the speed is some 120 km/h.

  • this guy has the best voice

  • Thank you!

  • Any chance to actually see you move???

  • I have no video. These days most people here sail Skimbats. In Kiplinger's Personal Finance Jan 1982, page 59 (on line): Onlookers were sceptical about Ansar's claim that his contraption could match ice-boat speeds... Ansar clipped across the ice at about 60 mph, and the sceptics were convinced.
