Unless one person set it up so that 4 different cameras at different places could show the exact same thing from those different angles, I would have to say that this could not be CGI. If it were only one angle of footage from one camera, maybe. We have multiple people freaking out when the thing shoots up.

This wouldn't be CGI trickery, it would have to be something physically faked that either 4 different groups of people got sucked into at the same time or were in on it together. Compelling!

Second: Who says they do, or even would build "ships"? They may "manifest" in our environment that way, really existing as pure energy in other ways when called for.

That beam of light is reflection of a nuclear fusion, these craft have for example a minature version of the super collider. Within the flash sequence you can see a beam of light spirl around, which in esence is nuclear fusion happening on a minature scale. They should be casting shadows towards the camera, because the flash is coming from behind them.

But they don't, because the flashes have been added afterwards, like the UFO.
