Come on girls, lighten up for God's sake. I LOVE the True Grit remake and I think all of the actors in it are sensational, but I still find this vedeo extremely funny in a very rude sort of way. What I would like to know is what Jeff Bridges,Matt Damon and the Coen Brothers think abt. it...if they've even seen it. If they have, I'd bet they laughed their asses off.

True grit was amazing. Haliee, Jeff and Matt were amazing! I will say that this video hit it right in that , Jaws rereleased with a realisitc CGi shark would be great. Dont change anything else no one can replace roy, richard, robert or lorraine in jaws. Really the old style cars and town dispite being very 1970's could still exist in america today, anyway a realistic cgi shark would be a great dvd/bluray I would buy it. DONT OVER DUE THE CGI SHARK!

If you watch an interview with Jeff Bridges he says that when the Cohen brothers approached him he wasn't sure because he didn't want to try and fill John Wayne's shoes. When finding out the movie is soley based on the BOOK and not the first movie, he agreed to do it.

No matter what semantics you want to dance around, a movie with the same title, story, characters, scenes, and dialogue is a remake.  Nothing wrong with a remake, some are as good, and some are better than their originals. But calling it a re-adaptation does not change the fact that it's a remake.
