Sierra -- thank you again for your clarifications. This horrific story is confusing enough without them leaving out details. Your comments really help. My heart goes out to that dear baby -- some people just don't deserve to have children.
ALL RIGHT!!!!!! Shannon is safe, praise God! What a sick aunt though, I would have died for my nephews when they were little (or now, for that matter).
That's true, and I don't think I ever bonded with any babies as much as my nephews. But still, it's a hideous thing to do to an infant. Was the little girl she tried to murder her biological daughter? Oh, and thanks for keeping us up to date, and give Misha a hug for me!
The little girl that Susan beat up so badly years ago, I am not sure if this child is Susan's biological daughter or perhaps a step-daughter. If I find this out, I will repost.
You think she put the baking soda in there to mask the smell if they brought in dogs? Seems like with the cedar and the baking soda, she planned this doesn't it?
I don't feel that Shannon was left there to die. I think Susan just made sure to hide Shannon while Susan was at the police station just in case the police went into the house while she wasn't there. CLEARLY, having Shannon in the chest with the lid down and under the bed for 12 hours WAS going to leave Shannon in distress and possible death. :( :(
that picture scares me sooo much, her eyes are soo big. she also looks like she has cancer or something :S

Susan is not a blood-related aunt. She is a step-aunt.

I want to know more about the baking soda.....

It was used to mask the odor of the dirty diaper that was also in the cedar box.
There is a link to the picture of the cedar box in the description of this video.

I heard that, but to me the box looks like a coffin and I wonder if she was left there to die. I am just so happy that shes alive... what a blessing!
