@30stm821105 Unfortunately, some Parisian suburbs are pretty hardcore... No one would believe it because of the famous myth of Paris, but when you cross the town line and enter in the "banlieue" it's a total other world. It's pretty violent, sadly.
@TheAPC91 I mean it was produced with the film in mind so the kick drum/hats etc are not in the fore front of the track - want a version where the kick drums etc are in your face - il produce my own version!
@Loveisblindness89 Yes it is, the majority of the first half of the film has the sound, it's most noticeable during the opening credits, it sounds like a low rumbling. It's barely audible but your ears pick it up without you even noticing, it makes some people feel disoriented and nauseated.
I was going to save this, as a reminder in my favorites. But I just can't bring myself to "Like" or "Favorite" anything with the word "Rectum" in the title. Congrats, I finaly found that line I just won't cross.
Nope, that's what is horribly ironic about the entire film. Le Tenia (the rapist) was the guy standing next to the man Marcus attacked and Pierre killed.
The movie teaches you to deal with life. And life isn't always beautiful. How would you feel if your girlfriend was raped? What would YOU do to the person who did it? Kill him? Well, in the movie you see how bad it could turn out for you. I find it interesting that more women liked the movie than men. Certainly because they're the more intelligent humans ... They get it. And it IS a philosophical movie. I'm sorry but only intelligent persons are able to like this movie, that's it.
@Enerki Two "philosophical" questions: Monicca Bellucci supports Roman Polanski's exhonoration for the anal rape of a 13 year old girl when HE was in his 40s. So did she do this movie because she wanted to "examine" rape from a philosophical standpoint? Maybe she did the scene because she thinks rape is hot? Maybe both she AND you are sick, and DUMB enough to think there's something "philosophical" about rape. The movie teaches you to deal with life? Is that like porn teaching you how to love?
@methyou I have no idea how people always take my words, twist them around and then tell me stuff like I would like rape. Do you really think I like rape? What's your problem, man? I hated the rape scene, damn it! But rape happens in this world and everyone should know that, learn to deal with it. Funny they accused Polanski after it turns out he made an anti-american movie, probably no reason for that ... Same story with Julian Assage ... I don't trust the media and now what? Come on hit me!
@Enerki So now you're saying Roman Polanski didn't drug and anally rape a 12 year old girl? WOW! That's the first I heard THAT from anyone. I guess you don't believe the holocaust happened either?
Eh you need to research bud. Polanski admitted to drugging and having sex with that girl. Not only that but he sodomized her because he didn't have a condom. He deserves to be locked up. As for Assange, well the charges against him are more ambigious and clearly politically motivated. Even one of the women he reportedly raped admitted she had been coerced by police into laying a charge of rape. Don't compare him to that scumbag Polanski.
terribl e movie I want to kill the fucking guy who made this piece of shit. Is disturbing, nothing human, how can you say that is good or provoque something good in your parson. Is disgusting.

Dopplereffekt - Gesamtkunstwerk
(1999, irreversible was done in 2002, you can find it on youtube)
and in the same kind but a little bit more different:
Throbbing Gristle - Hamburger Lady (1978!! you can also find it on youtube)
j'aimerai bien avoir l'avis de Thomas Bangalter là dessus..
