Jaggers has a severly sprained ankle along with torn ligaments, that can hurt as bad as a break. He wasn't even close to a reversal when he went MMA and ankle locked Jags. Jags had his ankle as well, if anything they were about to stalemate. Jaggers outwrestled Mendes and earned his championship.
