  • loved the sound effects! My great-aunt Anna gave me a quilt when I went to visit her in Mobile, Alabama! She was 89 years old. She passed about 3 years ago, but I cherish that quilt. But she always used to lie about her age and say she was 98. She wanted to live to be 110. Bless her! Thank you for reawakening memories that are always at the surface.

  • My aunt made each of us a quilt from my grandmother's old housecoats and other odds-and-ends that they collected from her estate after she died. They're from the back-east coal mines, and much of this soon-to-be-lost art is still common place over there. Very nice work, atree...
