Just a quick correction of this. Historically, the vast majority of religious Jews have followed the Babylonian Talmud, because it was much more widespread and far more comprehensible. Zionists instead used the Jerusalem Talmud because it is specific to the Land of Israel.

Just a quick correction of this. Historically, the vast majority of religious Jews have followed the Babylonian Talmud, because it was much more widespread and far more comprehensible. Zionists instead used the Jerusalem Talmud because it is specific to the Land of Israel.
