Well it actually does matter when you keep the Sabbath, because it is written: "...THE seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. (Exodus 20:10)" If it didn't matter what day the Sabbath was then God wouldn't of said specifically "THE SEVENTH DAY" which is Saturday.
