The information in this video is superb. The shame is thatlike SOSnUSA said, before the general election begins, "they" decide who they want to continue their practices.
I hold tight to the belief that the voter turn out this year will circumvent any further corruption.
I also believe that Obama will do what is right...even though it might bring turmoil to his family...
I think ex cons lose the right to own firearms as well....and you can't travel outside of your probation district. Yes, you do lose the right to vote.
this is why Obama should not be elected, dumb homeless people who don't know shit about politics. Now I'm not for Obama or McCain, I still don't want Obama to win though, too much power for Democrats. So who should I vote for?
Vote for Osama bin Laden if you want to balance power...duh!, your reasoning is totally dumb!, just because there are more blues in the house does not mean u should vote for reds, ducksta!
If they try to stop poor, homeless people from voting and let the well off vote then how will the poor ever have thier voices heard??? What a buch of BS! The world is watching you America.
If you are over the age of 18 and have a social security number ...you can vote. If they dont let you ....grab them by their fascit face and spit down their talkpiece!!!!
I am a poll worker in NM and during my training I was specifically instructed that addresses do not need to be a match, and that our state will not be a part of denying the homeless or people that have been foreclosed on their right to vote. At least one state is doing the right thing.
as long as you are an american citizen you should have the right to vote, even though you might not have a house, cuz whats the importance of a house anyway? its just four walls that surrounds you..
This is exactly why some laws are outdated. If this homeless man can prove that he is a U.S. citizen, he has a right to vote. People are losing homes all over the country. Does that mean that they lose their right to vote? CHANGE THE RULES!!
want to have your name on the list when you go to vote, Register Republican and donate Democrat they will not lose your information. or put you through a bunch of bull shit

If we are to survive as a democratic republic, these tactics must end.
and another thing, Republicans keep trying to throw suspicion on efforts like this because impoverished people tend to vote Democrat.
Well, ya know, if I was homeless or losing my home and one party was spending a lot of time and effort (and legal battles) trying to keep me from voting, I'd probably vote for the other party too.
property ownership should not be a criteria for the right to vote. If you are a citizen, you have the right to vote. Homeless people, people whose houses are foreclosed...they are still citizens.
Oh really? Well how about if you get foreclosed on and then they send you a voter registration confirmation in the mail to your old address. The confirmation expressly states that it cannot be forwarded so you don't get it. Then when you turn up to vote, they say you're not registered.
This is not a pipe dream but reality in some states.
Dude should just get a a beat machine off of ebay or used downtown for 30 bucks and put a beat behind that opening speech and call it down and out in detroit hip hop and he'll be a millionaire by the end of the year. He'll be big in Japan.

u got to be kidding if you want this guy to vote? wow...this is why we have an electoral college. If you are incopetent enough to not have a place to live, what right do you have to vote?
Yeah, kinda like all those people that recently lost their homes... I'm sure they are all incompetent to the point where they are not allowed to vote... [end sarcasm].
This is why you have no fucking clue what it's like to be poor.
Don't call anyone incompetent if you can't SPELL it. Secondly, my cousin was homeless for a while because his home was foreclosed on. Predatory lending led him to homelessness. Now he lives with my father while he gets back on his feet. I know an oblivious moron like you can't understand the plight of those less fortunate than you, but allow me to send you a video. It concerns ACORN.
O.k., some of the blame surely falls on him for his misfortune. But also, the right to vote should be taken most by those the past decisions have effected like those displace by foreclosure and events like Katrina.
I don't know why you're trying to make the connection that I think he shouldn't be able to vote. I think everyone should be able to vote, I was just annoyed with how everyone blames others, even though the pen lies in their hands.
No, they don't make you sign, but they bombard consumers with sales approaches that could be compared to predators, hence the name. Debt is a product the banks are selling, and they are expert salesmen! I agree with your responsibility comment, but it needs to work that way for the lenders, too--you know, those very financial institutions that are getting that big, fat bailout? Lenders and borrowers ought to both be held responsible for loans they all knew were just too good to be true.
I called them partly responsible, not demons. It's called product liability.
If in your view the banks are not at all responsible for lending to people who already have shaky credit, I can only assume you would also hold that liquor stores are not responsible for selling alcohol to people that are already drunk!
Hm...are you one of those people who resent every nickel of tax you pay but still expect paved roads, cops, a military, etc? Those somehow go together, "responsibility" & "no taxes"..?
Not really- the gasoline tax pays for quite a bit of the roads. Cops & military are essential, but should definitely be toned down. Both should be much smaller.
This is a joke right? Have you ever heard of the Constitution? Despite many people's theory that the poor and stupid people shouldn't be able to vote, that is unconstitutional. As long as you are a law-abiding citizen, you should be able to vote. Period.
What a disgusting notion. Homeless people should be allowed to vote, they may vote for people who will help the homeless (contrary to stupid people's assumptions, not all homeless people are lazy junkies). It's like saying that because the illiterate can't read they shouldn't be able to vote when it's the system that fails them.
"We hole these truths to be self evident, that ALL men are created equal..."
EVERY person should vote. I want EVERYONE to vote, even those that disagree with my views. THAT is what makes democratic systems work.
The electoral college is outmoded and needs to be thrown away. Every vote needs to be equal, whether you live in the inner city, the suburbs, or in the countryside.
Instant run off elections need to be instituted, along with a return to paper ballots.
wow. I don't know what to say to all of you. Every vote should not count. the people who founded this country were AFRAID of the masses. Jesus. The government shouldn't require anything they don't provide at no cost for their citizens to vote.
This means if it's not your name and social security number, and possibly ID if it's free then those are ok.
This is the same thing as poll taxes and tests...it's a way to get the poor to not vote.
