I was just Rx'd Wellbrutin because I had an allergic reaction to Cymbalta. Can't they give you something like Lortab or Vicodin RX's (they're pretty inexpensive) to control the pain? I'm scared for you with that high a a blood pressure. Praying for you.
I agree with you that the pain issue has to be addressed and managed. I would not be surprised at all if that is contributing to your high pressure. Thoughts and prayers going out to you.

Oh Lawd Lizzy! My blood pressure was higher than that when they diagnosed me with congestive heart failure in December. I never knew I had high blood pressure. Please take you bp meds and watch your sodium intake, that will help tons in bringing it down. Hang in there Lizzy! ILY!
No matter what the cause of the high BP you need to get it under control. I have it too and take Diovan for it which has gotten it instantly under control. The last think that either of us need are more health problems cause by out of control BP... you know?
I am on high blood pressure medication. I have been since I was 18 years old. Did you know when your thyroid levels are messed up that your pain is worse? I learned that just recently. All that matters right now is getting you healthy. Take the bp meds and hopefully they will do their trick. If it's still high when you go back most likely they will increase it or add a fluid pill. Which I would think you should be on both. The hydrocloricide will help with fluid tension.
See this is what makes me so mad. Doctors tell you that you high PB, but when your body is in so much pain that you can't rest, and when your body is in pain you PB is up. But they can't help you with the pain because you just might get high, and they don't want that, they just want you to to suffer.
