So come 4 the true WORLD waterworld it is our destine. The woman is the world as all gayish character and the baby is our future so the man as a king fight them out. I real appreciate...Thank u.
I loved Waterworld. Kevin Costner was great as always. It was nice to see brilliant Jeanne Tripplehorn and very young Tina Majorino.
There were so many vastly underrated films in the 90's - Waterworld, The Real MCCoy, Alien 3, Die Hard 2, Robocop 2, Copycat, The Net, Dangerous Game, Strange Days, The Lawnmower Man 1 and 2, Futuresport, Point of No Return, The Shadow, Dark City, The Rocketeer, Anaconda, Sphere, Gloria, Runaway Car, The Chase, The Arrival, City Hall, Daylight, Judge Dredd...
there is a movie that came out i think around the same time with i believe people fighting for oil, and everything is dry, and theres this kid that digs holes like a dog and lives in the ground. anyone know by any chance? same kind of movie
This movie pretty sucked, however it has nice music, good opening scenes and interesting main character. Plot and other chars were too cliche though for this movie to succed. The Postman was better.
@browing44 because that is the only surviving technology remaining. If earth became a waterworld planet today, the only things you would see are jetski's, airplanes duhhh
Factual errors in this film :there is supposed to be no technology( paper appears as a rare commodity)so how can smookers have jet skys airplanes gatling hovercraft "kamikaze" jetsky???With all this technology how can t Helen know mirrage??
Correction : There is no technology for common people. Smokers live in their own society, their is no relationship with the others except for violence. So smoker can have some technology they don't share.
The smokers live on board the tanker that still has a lot of fuel (although it's running out in the movie) which they can use to power the planes and jet skis.
The people living onboard the Atolls don't even have guns; they're pretty primitive.
Great film, cant understand why it gets slated.Especially like the bit where he takes the woman down to see what the world was like before it was flooded.
