They say they did their job, while reminding us of those who couldn't return home to celebrate with their families. The brave souls who were chosen to be sacrificed to ensure peace in this world. Has anyone ever read the book by Mark Bowden? The movie is good as a movie, but the factual story is a lot more accurate in the book, which makes the Black Hawk Down movie a bit inferior. It makes you want to read and look up the information. So I guess it's superior in that sense since I think many people don't read as much anymore. It's a well made movie though. I was disappointed with it after I read the book though.

I'm an Indian but I do respect the brave men who survived and the ones who were not so lucky. It took a lot to face those somalian militia and it still takes a lot of courage for those who are still alive to pass thru those horrific days.Also the way that the Chief of the unit retired after murdering the warlord years after this incident makes me travel thru another world of respect.Be any citizen,be of any nationality but every damn soldiers are soldiers and they are HEROES! fuk the politicians

I've heard many say that the men who returned are heroes, they fought and saved the world from destruction. They say they did their job, while reminding us of those who couldn't return home to celebrate with their families. The brave souls who were chosen to be sacrificed to ensure peace in this world. Peace is never free, everything, from freedom to peace, has a price tag. And with that, we pay with the ours or our loved ones lives. We may not like it, but thats the equilibrium of Love and War.

I am not American... but after watching this movie, I wish, I just wish I could've been there, fighting side by side with those brave american souls, even if that meant giving my life in order to save on of yours.

Has anyone ever read the book by Mark Bowden? The movie is good as a movie, but the factual story is a lot more accurate in the book, which makes the Black Hawk Down movie a bit inferior. It makes you want to read and look up the information. So I guess it's superior in that sense since I think many people don't read as much anymore. It's a well made movie though. I was disappointed with it after I read the book though.

wow, this song was played during first tour in afghanistan, someone from rmc was killed, i didnt even know the guy and i burst into tears, been serving 3 years myself in the British army, and worked with the army rangers once, lovely bunch of guys, touch sons o bitches il give em that, respect from the UKRMC!

Black Hawk down ist sicherlich einer der schonungelosenden Filme überhaupt. Er zeigt ziemlich eindeutig die Schrecken eines Geruilliakrieges, Schrecken auf beiden Seiten und auch der Soundtrack ist Hammer. aus der Ferne betrachtet hat der Krieg manchmal sogar etwas fazinierendes ansich. Aber das ist alles Makulatur wenn man solch so einen Film anschaut. Der Krieg ist die Geißel der Menschheit und das schlimmste was Menschen geschehen kann...
