@DeliciousRon About the AT feild, I read it protects from conventional weaponry. Granted for the sake of the game EVA 01 can be hurt but you have to realize that a beam attack isn't exactly conventional. Beam weapons could be an exeception to the AT feild untill it can adjust.
Only if the beam is of high enough power, otherwise it would just bounce off. There isn't enough power in a mobile combat mech to generate such a beam.
It took all of the electricity in Japan to pierce the AT field of the angel Ramiel, and Eva Unit 01 is much more powerful than any angel in her End of Eva berserk state.

The N2 mines are as strong as a Nuke and could also create an EMP like a Nuke. But it doesn't produce any radioactive fallout, so that's why it's Non-nuclear.
The EVA's never took damage from conventional weapons, they were only damaged by the Angels, which have capabilities of destroying a whole city. And seriously, EVA's eat Nukes on a daily basis whenever an Angel explodes.

Actually Eva is several times the size of gundam. If gundam was a lego figure eva would be at least a 14 inch action figure. Gundams are 40 feet tall, eva is the size of the smallest twin tower give or take. While the EVA-01 unit is certainly strong and has a very imposing presence on the battlefield, I'd argue that a something like the DX's double cannon at maximum energy could punch through the AT field and do enough damage to destroy it. PG MKII could simply use Bits to attack from far away and then close the range to kill the pilot capsule; there are many options for defeating EVA unit 01, imo.
Actually, there's no official estimate on an Evangelion's height, although it seems to range from 40 to 80 meters depending on how the director wants it to be.
The only Gundam that can outsize an Evangelion is only Devil Gundam IIRC.

Meh, the prog knife was pretty much aided by the EVA's AT field eroding effects.
And the positron rifle pretty much borrowed the power of the whole city of Tokyo 3, so it's pretty damn powerful. Although, it couldn't break through the stronger Angels like Arael.
The N2 mines are as strong as a Nuke and could also create an EMP like a Nuke. But it doesn't produce any radioactive fallout, so that's why it's Non-nuclear.

I don't know, never watched Evangelion at that point. But does it matter to watch it again? it would be retconned by the Rebuild movie after all. And Tabris had the most powerful AT Field, he probably easily eroded EVA-01's AT field. And the prog knife is after all, a high frequency Vibro-blade that produces positron.
there's only a handful of Gundams that holds the power of more than a city, like any of the Gundams in G or Turn A. And the Double X gets crushed before it can fire its TSC.

I just watched episode 24, and "gained knowledge" of the series, it's quite a moot point after all is said and done, since EVAs has shown to tanked low-yield nuclear explosions at point-blank, the prog-knife must have high penetration power since it can produce anti-matter after all and cut at a molecular level and we've never seen an angel or Eva guard against a prog-knife except Kaworu(at the 18 minute mark of ep 24) which is why he was mentioned of having the strongest AT-Field.

No An AT field can only be neutrilized by another at field. Eva would straight up woop gundams ass. This fight was never meant to happen. Eva is built and designed for something way different than a gundam. Nothing gundam can do can stop an eva. Especailly if eva's can become gods. It's just not a good crossover period. It's not a fiar fight for a gundam when it faces an eva. I think this should not happen to poor gundams O.o

I'm pretty sure an energy weapon of similar or greater power could also produce the same results. Of course there is no real way to prove this so.....

Actually Eva is several times the size of gundam. If gundam was a lego figure eva would be at least a 14 inch action figure. Gundams are 40 feet tall, eva is the size of the smallest twin tower give or take. Plus the AT (absolute terror) field and then considering satan's soulis inside unit 01.......Good luck with that buddy. wether you like eva or not you gotta accept the facts....Eva owns any gundam you throw at it. Maybe 00riser would last a few minutes at best XD

While the EVA-01 unit is certainly strong and has a very imposing presence on the battlefield, I'd argue that a something like the DX's double cannon at maximum energy could punch through the AT field and do enough damage to destroy it. PG MKII could simply use Bits to attack from far away and then close the range to kill the pilot capsule; there are many options for defeating EVA unit 01, imo.

Actually, there's no official estimate on an Evangelion's height, although it seems to range from 40 to 80 meters depending on how the director wants it to be.
The only Gundam that can outsize an Evangelion is only Devil Gundam IIRC.
