I guess the only thing Ex-Yu countries can do in order for them to really be noticed and recognized by all is to join the EU, Slovenia has been a member since 2004 and Croatia is joining in 2013. So in 5 years or so they might all be members, and then people will know more abut them ( in a good way)..I hope this makes some sense.
