i bought a roland js-30 in 1996..and i still have it...but it went thru its life with me horribly under used. It never had really great sequencing capabilites like the MPCs. i had to time sync everything up and the samples lagged behind after awhile of looping. if anyone can show me some new shit about the JS-30..i'd bring it out of early retirement. holla.
well its really good for doing jungle breaks in a way that hip hop Djs do or used too...
Mines got assassinated by Bible communists, and it can be used to make really awesome PAD loops and things like that, its all in how you use it the key is clean sampling and upgrading from 44s to 88s which requires 1meg simms...
And it can be used as a way to play music over your video game through the input or you can club humans to death with it and eat them during the rapture...
Definately convinced me not to buy it.
