  • Thanks for uploading this. I share your concern. Of course I see the same thing here in Texas. But I also know the solution is changing how consumers think and buy, not in more laws or government business regulation.

    Convincing people that shopping locals small business is good because the knowledge and skill these shopkeepers have and share is well the worth any additional cost.

    it is also easier to create a business relationship with a person or family, than a corporation.

  • Thanks for uploading this. As shops close down there seem to be more places to eat and drink. So, so sad about Olio, about Alan (i knew him) and Jones - all high quality shops. PS the one on the corner was an estate agent not bank.

  • I bet Tesco will take over undertaking soon. Mr Maybrick, in 2002 there were ten bookshops and today only 3.
