my question for this is and please someone answer because i just dont understand this. how would you know the day after you had sex that your birth control pill failed? because wouldn't that mean that you know your pregnant? how can you know your pregnant the day after you just had sex?

If the woman's birth control "fails" (as the video says), then an egg has already been fertilized and, by scientific definition, she is now pregnant. To suggest that Plan B is anything but an abortifacient is downright misleading.

@Snackbar47 you have up to 72 hours before you have a fertalized egg if you go for plan b but your chances of being preganant are higher the longer you wait to take that pill. plan b is and ec which casues the womans utoris to thin out and her wall mucos becomes thicker making it harder for the egg to be fertalized, in any case this will work if you take it as soon as you can. The side affects are mild and if you are pregnant it has not been proven to affect the childs grow cycle what so ever.

Umm... How about the fact that Plan B has been proven to "discard" already fertilized eggs (that is, day 1/2/3 babies). That's how the pill works. You are missing your own point - The thinning of the uteran wall doesn't make it harder for the egg to be fertilized (as you say), but for the ALREADY fertilized egg to attach to the uteran wall. Instead of attaching, it is "aborted" (that is, killed).
