Thanx atebane. Your correct in your assessment. The SWD workers are not to blame. They try to do their job with intense lack of appropriate funds.The Arroyo govt of the last decade consistently reduced the health funding in the Philippines year after year and the need for more services has increased. As the current President's election campaign stated, " End Corruption and you will end Poverty". Rollie is still in need of a Quadriplegic Chair . I am only a messenger here. Thnx for watching :)

have you tried soliciting for funds elsewhere? the government is not dependable, and sometimes doing things on your own is the only way to get things done. don't wait for the higher ups to do something.

if you can get the money and get someone to go and buy the wheelchairs, this whole thing is possible =)

Thanks for this video, I have a first cousin about age 35 now that has the same condition. Of course her treatment is much different her in the the USA with the help of social security. My next visit to the Philippines will be in Feb. and March, can you give me an undate on the family, so that I can stop by on my way to Dinagat Province and maybe help out in some small way. Thanks

Nearly one year on since I filmed this, the Gorillo children are still without the special (for quadriplegics) wheelchairs they deserve. Some organizations and interested parties have viewed the Gorillo video but so far no solution has emerged. Hopefully this will change for the Gorillo family soon. Thanx, Duncsflix
