  • awesome

  • awesome tutorial !

  • if you had 25 LEDS in series, would it be hard to fit a dimer to the setup?

  • Excellent. Thank you

  • good video.

  • on, off, on, off. lol make enough of them and you have a computer.

  • will the use of resistors make the energy of a battery last longer?

  • You can light some LEDs with a low amount of only 1.5v and not all leds light at 2v the most common ones i use are super bright and they take 3v to light, 2v is to low and they dont light, so dont tell some one that they need to increase the voltage if they dont need to.

  • what resistor do u use for a 1.5V?

  • @blizzard249 1.5V is insufficient to light up a typical led. An LED requires 2V to light up.

One AA battery voltage is too low (1.5V). Two AA battery is too high (3V). That is why we need a suitable resistor to bring it down to the LED's operating voltage of 2V.

  • @justvisiblesilence so what if you have a 12v supply, what resistor would you use?

also, if you had 2 LED's connected inline, would the first one waste some of the power before it got to the second?

  • @blizzard249 for 1,5V u need another 1,5V because LED wont work on 1,5V

  • I Learned much in this video... Thank you!!! Now I shall move on to size

  • but according to this it's connected to the positive leg ....don't get this my self

  • Beam bots are solar robots that basically take in power from there solar cell and then release it in a movement towards the light. Created by Mark Tilden.

  • Great video, I am trying to learn circuits, so I can build Beambots. I learned alot. Thanks

  • @marcuelcajon what's beambots?

  • can anyone tell me how to connect 4 led s, what battery i should use and if i should use any resistors. 10x

  • does it actually matter where you put the resistor?

  • no it does not matter

  • cool thx

  • @tobibasic the resistor goes on the negative leg of the led (shorter leg)

  • very helpful intro to circuits. thanks.

  • so if i want... say 12 red LEDs with a switch to turn them on, would i just have the battery to the switch to the leds and back to the battery?

and would 2 1.5v batteries make it work?

  • mic is good

  • lol, i love your singlish accent

  • If I'm using multiple LEDs in my circuit i don't need multiple transistors right?

  • fix ur mic damn it a wast of time cant even hear u right
