who read the book could answer to me: everyone talks about dewey, and sure he was a great great cat!! but it seems that nobody cares about the story of vicki...the emotion for a woman that looks always on the bright side even after a life story so strong as she had...nobody mention it... :(

This week on the New York Times best seller list,Dewey is at # 14 and has been selling for 30 weeks now.I also would love to know how many printings they have had and how many books have been sold so far( in the USA ).

The book was # 5 on the NYT best seller list for a few weeks,now its at # 8 but its been selling well for 27 weeks now.I can't wait until the Dewey movie it out in 2 years or less with Meryl Streep playing Vicki!

I had to put my Lhaso Apso down last September. So, I didn't think I needed to be reading an animal story because I already know what the end is going to be. I felt the same about seeing the movie, Marley and Me but I was glad I did. Mayber it broke my "grieving ice." However, I thought "that's enough of that. No more." Last week, I was visiting a friend and she happened to hae a copy of Dewey on her book shelf. I picked up Dewey and couldn't put the book down.
