G35 and Maxima have the same 3.5L V6 engine, but in G35 - it's slightly tuned for better performance (that's why it only takes premium gas). No wonder G35 won.
Haven't had electrical problems or other drama ..owned 3 bimmers.. And the 3.0 bimmer motors are bullet proof . N52's are natural aspirated and reliable ... ?? Don't drink to much of the koolaid ( like the Toyota lovers )

@normanmj, Sorry dude, this year G35 doesn't have an HR. It's a DE. The HR motor found in the 2007-08 G35 Sedan and 350z's is in another league.
