  • saw them on the legs tour in '84 or '85.

  • It dont get better than this!

  • its so gaddam refreshing to see pure talent..ty guys

  • damn they're pumped up on this one.

  • the best of the best!!!!

  • Awesome drum fill @ 2:14!!! Great job Frank!!!

  • "A can of dinner and a bunch of wine."

  • !!! WOW !!!

  • Out of the friends I have in Facebook, I'm the only one that listens to them.

  • hell yeah

  • I saw them the last four Decades The last in Salibury ,Md 2006. STILL KICKIN ASS

  • Is it just me or is the tempo all over the place? I don't think it's Beard's fault though. It's the bass on the turnarounds and the breaks.

  • @lawyerfwb its called cocaine.

  • I can see the power of "real 59" here

  • wow no sunglasses...hehe

  • that be Pearly Gates buddy

  • Billy Gibbons is The Dude. Period.

  • i too was amazed at the sound of a three piece band,it takes three great musicans to pull it of. nugent had a three piece as so did hendrix

  • @DadandMom52 Stevie Ray Vaughan did as well until the last 2 or three years of his life. The Police is another good one.

  • i dont mean to be the turd in the punch bowl but i keep getting related videos of meralin mason or whatever. and i have just found the thing i hate more then satin. if you dont know who im talking about... DO NOT LOOK INTO IT!

  • They sound like crap live and im a huge zz top fan i'd prefer the studio versions! I saw them Live in 1989 and they were out of time and the 40,000 plus crowd was not at all impressed! Great band nevertheless

  • What a great band. I feel honoured t have grown up while ZZ Top was in their prime. Three men, three instruments - no waiting.

    Times were good, my friends...

  • @garcemac I was there too. Great times indeed.

  • @fuxgood I don't like to put down today's music because I'm old. I just feel there's something missing, though...

ZZ Top is a great band. IMHO.

  • @garcemac Whats missing is soul/feel.

  • @fuxgood I guess they're old. Its a bit sad, but I remember these guys when I was in my teens - and that was a LONG time ago. My good memories kinda influence my opinions.

ZZTop was a great band, and there is no band this raw or blues-oriented tearing up the charts today.

I'm 48 - these guys dominated my youth.

You're right - Billy G. is going for the money grab. 30 years ago, that man instilled memories that cannot be taken away. And I cherish those moments.

  • @garcemac Oh yeah, ZZ was and is now a great band. But traveling and playing the same stuff over and over gets old after a while so they rip through it on occasion. Look at some Johnny Winter vids from the early 90's or so. Just going through the motions.

I'm a bit older,10 years in fact, than you. I saw ZZ in the late 60's and a lot during the 70's. The thing I loved most about their performances was they sounded live EXACTLY like the studio version and I mean note for note. Amazing stuff...

  • @garcemac Amen brother!

  • It's a joke when you see today's musicians trying to look cool, with the crap they're spewing! Except for a few talents like Adele.

  • @chewbacca0901 saw them live 2 years ago, in their 2009 european tour. Aside the great music and all that, Billy and Dusty expanded the limits of coolness for me. It was just astounding, how fucking cool these 60 yrs old guys were.

I have a beer on them every once in a while.... Cheers!

  • @ltsandes Glad you had fun! I saw them in the mid 80's, in Biloxi, Mississippi. It was amazing to see what kind of music a 3 man band could put out!

  • @chewbacca0901 You should listen to Rush. Three member band and amazing sounds are squeezed out.

  • @wheelman1324 Sorry, but I'll take ZZ Top any day. Rush is decent, but Geddy Lee gets on my nerves with that squealy voice of his.

  • Man, Dusty had some pipes. These guys were just fierce in their prime. Thanks for posting.

  • SUPER ZZONG!!!!

  • ...but everythings cool 'cuz we're just tight.

  • The Masters Indeed

  • The beat is a little off on this one.

  • magic stuff
