  • It's all about the K20z3. VTEC!!!

  • 2zz best engine out there! :)

  • @jobedd Its a beast of an engine it just needs to hit lift a little bit lower

  • @rolling03trd right, it needs the celica (2000, 2001) ecu that starts lift at 6,000rpm ;)

  • @jobedd nah ill just get the apexi pfc to lower it

  • The XRs will kill a Honda any day.

  • good video but you should have tried to keep up o we can see the race

  • @NikeSBDunkman23 haha yea i know but my buddy following only has a 1.5L single cam so he wouldnt have kept up plus for some reason he didnt even try to keep up but i pulled by about 2 buses

  • i know that is why i said gsr will lose top end. from a dig it will keep up until middle of 3rd then xrs lift will kick in.

  • @TheCorollaXRS Yea ik i need the PFC bad

  • @TheCorollaXRS that takes the joy away from hearing the lift crossover. might actually lose power if car is not properly tuned for it. Only car i know that have a lift or "vtec" type system that is always engaged is the bmw m series.

  • @TheHumanRicer

Sorry for the misunderstanding.. I wanted to say that it stays LIFT every shift.. not everytime

  • @TheHumanRicer The M series uses the system called VANOS. It's not a lift type system. It's a strong timing advance/retard, depending on the rpm. Some of the engines use single VANOS (only intake side), and some use double VANOS (both intake and exhaust side). BMW did use valve lift later on, you might know it as "Valvetronic" and it is not continuously variable. It depends on the engine and what type of VANOS is used (single or double).

  • @sleepisyummy i didn't know what it is called or what it really does. thats why i said "type". don't know much about bmw other than they are expensive.

  • @TheHumanRicer also someone told me that nissan has "lift" as well. the engine is a sr20ve

  • @rolling03trd i don't know about the sr20ve but i know the qr25de has a sort of a lift system where it involve the cams changing and causing a crossover like the vvtli or vtec.

  • gsr will lose top end.

  • @TheHumanRicer as soon as we took off i pulled him instantly and he just kept getting smaller and smaller. you cant really tell but i got him by around 2 buses
